A small, nice theater
The renovated Tara Cinemas is a great, fun place to check out a good movie. They often play independent and foreign films, so there's almost always something interesting playing. While the theater does not have theater seating, the seats ar...

Good, clean fun on Cheshire Bridge
There's a lot of different kinds of shows on Cheshire Bridge, but this one is guaranteed safe and relatively cheap. Though you'll pay a couple more dollars than at the Lefont theatres (Atlanta's other art house movie theaters), you do get what you pay for. The seats at Tara are all operational and the floors squeaky clean. On weeknights, you practically have the place to yourself.
