UMoveFree

Should have took the $. Moved 6x in the dfw area in 8 yrs. slowest! took NO care and scratched all brand new furniture. I was so mad. I should have bought the insurance but with how busy I was- I didn't read their liability policy. READ IT! They pay 66 cents per pound. They lost a cord to my electric piano so I have to replace that. They scratched up a brand new $300 mirror. They wrapped nothing and didn't use any blankets. They showed up with the trailer and spent so much time figuring out how to fit our stuff- and didn't even finish the move because they didn't have enough room to load it. They scratched up my headboard/footboard which I bought only 9 months ago from a high-end furniture store in Plano. I was sick to my stomach when I saw it. I wish we would have gone with AB Moving again. They were the best. I will NEVER go with UMoveFree again. AB moving have free moving services if you tell the apt they referred you. Cactus moving was the company that moved us. It took them 5-1/2 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment that was 13 miles away and my husband and I helped them!!!!!

I was recommended to UMoveFree by my sister as a reliable resource for finding an apartment. I applied online and three days later I received an email with listings that were not priced correctly. When I went to the properties I was told the information was outdated. Upon notifying my assigned agent- Linda Vosbury no response to price errors were given; I should have ran then, but no I wrote her name down as the referral in order to qualify for the supposed free move. Upon completing the 3 bedroom lease, I was told I would be contacted by the move coordinator-Lori. She said I would be charged for travel and some items; she then set up a time for the movers to come at 5 p.m. Cactus movers called at 1 p.m and told me they needed to start early to avoid traffic. By 3 p.m they were at my door, charged me extra for certain items-recliner, tv, china top and only moved those items plus moved ten boxes resulting in broken vanity glass and other glass items. As of today, two weeks later, I have received no response from either company; however, UMoveFree receive $585 on my behalf. Thanks UMoveFree for not honoring your end of the contract.

This was my second time using UMoveFree and both times they exceeded my expectations. Sherri Lane was very informative and the movers were suprisingly professional. I would definitely use them again in the future..I highly recommend them....

I was in need of an apt. I contacted umovefree and Sherri Lane contacted me right away. Within a week we located an apt. and were moved in. Sherri Lane was very nice and most helpful with all my questions. The movers were on time, very professional, friendly, and very careful with my belongings. I will recommend her to anyone that needs to move.
