Bought a 2008 Mercedes CLK350. was advertised and represented as a "perfect" condition car. After buying it within 2 weeks I had mechanical. problems, had trim parts I was told would be covered by warrenty that were not covered, found out the trunk and both doors had been repainted and found it was not dealer maintained as I was told. In addition on delivery I only was given one key. replacemnt key was $350.00 including programing. they also lied and said it was a non smoking car and found out that was not true either

We purchased a 2000 auto from a "high end" used auto dealer Jan. 8 - that night, the key spun in the ignition. We didn't think too much about it, as we'd just brought it home, figuring it was a dirty key, or something else minor. On Jan 13, with the car having less than 50 miles on it since we'd purchased it, it would NOT start ~ we got it to Ming's Auto Repair in Escondido. On the way there, the A/C quit! Ming told us the reason it wouldn't start was a bad ignition switch. He said the compressor was gone in the A/C unit, that it should be replaced. When we called Unique Auto last night (Jan. 13) to inform them of the problems, they would not call us back! TWICE today we had to track the salesman down. Long story short = this car dealer refuses to either take the car back & refund our money, or to have the problems fixed. These problems were never mentioned or disclosed. On their website, they say one of their claims to fame is "great customer service" - not so! We put less than 50 miles on this car, had it less than 6 days; yet they refused to compensate us, or repair the problems that should have been disclosed up front. Buyer beware when going to Unique Auto in Escondido!
