I do not understand how this place exists, except maybe that people get home late after the bars and clubs and are hungry enough to tolerate the nonsense. I ordered a few things just now (it's not even 8 p.m. on a Thursday now) and, after a half hour, called to find out where the delivery was. The guy assured me that the delivery was "a half second away," and I asked him how he knew that. He told me he could see the delivery guy in the lobby of my building (across the street from the "Deli" with big windows). Five minutes later, I got dressed and went down to buy what I needed. After getting home, i called to complain and got attitude. Don't order from here; instead, order from 10th Avenue Gourmet, (212) 541-7880. And, no, I have nothing to do with 10th Avenue Gourmet. I'm just tired of this "United We Stand," place, which sounds like an H. Ross Perot institution.
