spent thousands and got several fungus infections. Making a mold for false teeth, the glue hardened and had to be drilled,crushed with pliers and pulled and cut to release it. Took all day. Dentist called manufactor, other dentists and offices for help and found none. This is just one of the horrible experiences I had. I could not get a refund or replacement of the broken dentures. Please do not use these people for your own safety.

This is the worst dental experience I have ever had. Please do your homework and find someplace else to get your dental work done. Very unprofessional, the service is terrible and the dental work is even worse. Their prices are outrageous and they totally overcharge you. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My wife had a horrible experience here. The dentist was always in a hurry and ruined two of her teeth, which had to be repaired/replaced elsewhere. During one visit, there was a gentleman sitting in the chair in the next room...groaning in horrible pain! I have never heard a patient groan in pain like this before!

I broke my lower back molar and went in for evaluation. I was fully examined by Dr Torrin (no longer there) and was told I would need a crown.The impression etc were taken and I went back 4 weeks later .Putting the crown on was very painful with many adjustments.I continued to have pain and went back about 3 weeks later to complain. The new crown has a chip in it and I was told the crown above has a hairline fracture (which I believe they caused) never had a problem with that crown before.They told me there was nothing they could do for me. I this point Iam speaking to an attorney for possible suit.

People, you get what you pay for! Have you ever heard of a payscale for dentures, the best and not so best? Crowns for $399? It is too good to be true. After 12 visits to their office for a simple crown, a year and a half later the crown came off and they would not replace it. I have other crowns for YEARS and have never ever lost one of them. JOHN SCHAEFFER, the owner, the phoney guy next to the dentist in their commercials, he has his butt covered. You can't seek damages against him at all! But he is the one who hires the dentists and takes NO responsibility for their actions. STEER CLEAR!

Wonderful experience in the Bensalem Universal Dentistry office - - . I also had a pleasant experience so I was surprised to see a bad review! (My theory is that you just cant please everyone!) As far as my appointment in Bensalem went, I didn't even schedule an appointment because I had a toothache and just walked in---I was so surprised to be accommodated immediately. The front desk staff, assistants and doctor were all so kind and sympathetic. It was such a fun environment being that it was Halloween and all of the staff were in costume! My tooth was taken care of and the best part is that not only did I leave with NO PAIN but I left with some money left over and a smile on my face! Great experience and I thank you! After going to my dentist for 33 yrs I couldn't afford his GREEDYNESS anymore. I loved the Willow Grove office. Ralph on the phone answereed all my questions and booked my appointment. Everything was clearly explained to me by 3 people (which I thought might be a little overkill) but certainly everything was crystal clear. I loved my dentist. Her name is Dr. Vivian Roknian, she is 100% experienced,knowledgable, & professional. I am experienced with caps (as I have several). Her gentle touch and skillful hands carefull drilled my tooth down without fracturing the tooth. Sandy the Dental Assistant was assisting her. I have never met a DA as skilled as Sandy. She too was extremely skilled and professional. I hope that one day she is able to go onto Dental School and become a DDS. When I was finished, I went to pay and knew that they did not have to build up my tooth....and to my surprise they were honest and upfront with all the charges. I definately will use this office as long as these professionala are working here and have already recommeded this office to several friends. Bottom line: Ethical, Affordable, Professional Denistry. i agree with all negative reviews dont let it fool u they pick on this office but believe me its the same in all of their offices. same company. stay away!! Universal dentristry....do yourself a favor....DISAPPEAR!! stole my money too asked for refund...3 months later still dont have it!! CROOKS!!

the worse place I ever visited for dentistry. It dont matter which office you visit. Went to 2 of offices (willow grove and bensalem) and both have the same qualities. Staff a bit friendlier in willow grove office though. Dr in bensalem office....TRIPPING!!! Prices are not what advertised lots of hidden prices!! Watch Out dont use them you take your life and appearance in your hands!!!! BEWARE

Unprofessionalism at its best!! Dr in Bensalem office very inexperienced and a bit disconnected and disconcerned with his work and when questioning the Dr credentials and procedure very hesitant,but with coaxing from staff made appt which was cancelled and my treatment halted mid stream and was told to go somewhere else because the Dr didnt feel he had to explain. Very rude. I must have hit on something they r trying to hide. price gouging a routine here. Different prices quoted and then additional charges hidden in bill and or different prices quoted in different offices for the same procedure, Total Lack of patient care and professionalism Be very careful if deciding to use this business. Penny wise..dollar foolish!!!

I am not typically a review writer, but after seeing the number of negative reviews on Universal Dentistry, I felt compelled to respond. I am confused by the negative reviews. My very first visit to the Willow Grove office was very professional from the moment I walked through the door. We started with an evaluation. A full set of x-rays, followed by a meeting with the dentist, and dental assistant. A plan was laid out, costs were given, and I felt very comfortable in agreeing with the recommendations. I have had approximately five appointments to date, and I have the highest praise for the Willow Grove group. I find everyone in the office to be professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I am having extensive dental work including implants, crowns, extractions, root canal, etc. Thus far, everything has gone exactly as it was laid out for me. Lets face it. Going to the dentist is generally not on your favorites list because it can cause discomfort, but if dental work is needed, my new friends at the Willow Grove office are in my mind, the best choice I could have made.

I went to Springfield office to get a partial plate for the bottom. After 2 months of going back & forth with these people and after the second plate they made that still did not fit, I asked for my money back. After reviewing the comments on this web site, I hope they return my money or they will be in for a fight. I paid on my credit card and will dispute their charges. The people were nice but the dentist was very unprofessional. He had tantrums like a child. If you did not agree with him or dislikes something, he ranted and threw his hands in the air and walked away. In the two months I tried getting the partial to fit, I finally saw him on my last and FINAL visit on August 17th. He did nothing until one of the technicians asked him to look at the 2nd plate that would not fit. He agreed that they could accomodate me. I do expect to get a refund or I will contact my lawyer.

Bad bad experience for me as well. Great doctor and staff (accept for front desk area) Unprofessional attitude and appearance, rude, LOTS of unprofessional behavior witnessed during my wait there)All was fine until I got to the front to check out and it all fell apart. I dont think the owners realize how important this position is and it is a HUGE reflection of the organiization as a whole. Very young girl on a power trip is my guess. She said her name was Mariann and she did have bad teeth also which is NOT a good selling point for dentistry. If they can straighten that out at check-out maybe they have a half-way decent shot at success. My fillings have held up and I liked the asistint in the back but all I could do was shake my head when I went to pay. I wont return. It seems that they allow this teenager to run the place, make critical decisions, etc. She is forcing people right out the front door because they let her ego rule them. It is just like the classic case of "parents" letting their "child" boss them around. I am looking for an office with a good "whole package" so to speak and I just cant tolerate rudeness either, and EPECIALLY NOT from a kid who needs more training to be in that kind of position. So I do agree with the negative responses. Learn to be polite and friendly with customers and get off your POWER trip of TRYING to be an adult.
