Great Place For Your Babies
We were looking for a trainer for our bitey terrier puppy and came across Urban Dawgy here on City Search. When I called, Natalie reminded me of so many things that I had forgotten because it had been so many years since we had a puppy. She also informed me about specific behaviors particular to our puppy's breed. We made an appointment for our puppy to go to doggy day care, followed by a private training session. Natalie was great with our little fella and all the activities they did that day wore him outfinally a full nights sleep! LOL We continue to take him to doggy day care, as well as, being in the process of taking a 6 week AKC puppy training class. The prices are reasonable, Natalie is great with the dogs, and our boy is very happy with his day care get-a-ways! I recommend Urban Dawgy to any new puppy and older doggie parents that are looking for an active, caring environment for their baby!!...

Natalie is a miracle worker!
My husband, Ed, brought Grant (our foster beagle) home yesterday from training with Natalie, and what a difference! This beagle used to be dominant aggressive. Grant came home, sniffed around a little, then came up to me and just sat looking up at me with those beautiful eyes! I had my dogs upstairs (of course they were extremely excited and making a lot of noise), Grant didn't make a peep! After he'd sniffed around I let my two out of the bedroom, but left a baby gate up so that they could sniff each other but not touch. There was no aggression from both sides. When we let all the dogs together I was expecting to need to correct any signs of aggression or excitement, but Grant just kept looking up at me waiting for a command! I actually started laughing. What a difference! I know that we always have to watch for the signs of anything starting but he didn't even give me the need to pull his attention away. \r\rHere's the best part We have aggressive/bored dogs on both sides and a new yappy dog directly behind. These are the dogs that used to chase Grant up and down the fence barking constantly and that would always be trying to break through the fence to get at each other. Grant went out by himself and I watched at the window The neighbor dogs started barking like crazy and Grant just ignored them! He found the ground more interesting! We'll be going for a walk tonight, but I am already feeling very confident. And it is sooo incredibly easy to break his attention now.\r\rNatalie, you are a miracle worker!...

This is the BEST place for training/daycare/boarding
We have used Urban Dawgy for training and day care with our two Great Danes. Natalie McMahon, CPDT taught me so much about dog behavior and how to communicate with our furry family members. There is no issue she can't teach you how to correct from lease pulling, jumping, destructive chewingthe best part is her training is all POSITIVE and our dogs LOVE learning with her methods. I was amazed how quickly my dogs learned to sit, leave it, stayect. What I really love about Natalie is that she treats each dog as an individual and she is excited to get to know their personalities. Natalie introduced both my dogs to water discovering one was a major water lover! Her 'daycare' is more like summer camp! They get so darn excited when we pull into the drive..they are either going to enjoy a fun training class or get to enjoy a day in doggie paradise! I have to 'lure' them away from doggie daycare with treats.they don't want to leave! The only 'con' is that it is a bit of a drive. But I think it is worth!...

Urban Dawgy is the best!
Urban Dawgy has been a life saver for us. Natalie's training has been wonderful for our puppy, and she's helped us through the hardest puppy-raising hurdles. Thanks to her, Belle has had great social interaction and we have a place we know she's happy and safe when we want to go away for a week, a weekend, or even just overnight. I only wish it were a little bit closer; we'd go there every day if we could. Thank you SO much for always being here for us!

Skilled Dog Trainer
I was referred to Natalie for dog training 2 1/2 years ago at Beaux's ( my male Rottweiler) vet. She came to my house and showed me how to teach him obedience and training. I now have two Rottweiler's and I would trust no one else with their training or boarding. We have done some training with Bella (my female Rottweiler) and I look forward to seeing her back under Urban Dawgy tutelage soon!
