Couldn't find squirrel, still charged us, 12/18/2014

Couldn't find the dead animal in attic- horrible smell (feces&tunnels). Still charged us full price.

Mole removal, 12/17/2014

We have had moles destroying our yard for years and the pest control company offered a monthly service to "bait" the moles which never seemed to work. Finally we were referred to Urban Wildlife... Control from a friend who had moles as well. Urban sent Richard out the next day who assessed our yard and immediately set traps. By the next week he had caught a mole and he explained that the yard damage was from one mole. After he trapped that mole our damaged stopped!

Urban Wildlife Control replied on 12-18-2014

Yes, we do charge a service fee whether or not we find a dead animal and remove it. Our office staff always explains this up front with every caller. Unfortunately, when an odor is not caused by a dead animal there is no animal to be removed. We are not odor experts, we are animal removal experts and cannot always determine what the odor is, but we are able to determine that it is not a dead animal. In your case, because you knew of animals living in your attic, when you smelled something you assumed it was a dead animal. Even in your 1 star review you admit to animal feces in your attic and Aaron found a mildew issue as well, both of which produce odors. We did however offer you a solution to your active animal infestation, which you declined, of course, once declined we collect our dead animal inspection fee because you called us out there under the pretense of a dead animal in your attic, if there was a dead animal present I assure you it would've been removed.

Relentless

Thanks for the pursuit of our elusive grey squirrel! These guys stayed on course while waiting for my pesky critter to return before they sealed off the house permanently. Highly recommend these guys as their knowledge and skill is apparent from the 1st phone call to the final walk-through.

Excellence!!

These guys are really great at diagnosing and fixing bat problems. We had bats getting into our bedroom at night and my wife was ready to move out when Richard came out and looked over our entire roof to determine all the locations bats were using to get in. He also determined the nesting spot for the bats. Aaron and the other guys came out to fix the house and clean up the mess over a 10 day period and now my wife decided not to move out.

Urban Wildlife Control replied on 12-18-2014

Yes, Thank you Jimmy! Your roof was a challenge! Barrel tile involves a very complex process to properly exclude all the bats. And cleaning up the mess in your attic was quite a chore. Glad we were able to get it done ahead of schedule so your thanksgiving guests wouldn't be bothered by the swooping bats!

Thanks!

After having several inspections by Urbans competitors, the tech from Urban was the first one to actually go on the roof and look at the problem! NO JOKE! The other inspectors tell me about a roof issue but never even looked at the issue. Urban went up and took pictures, showed me the pictures, then gave me a fair price. They quickly captured the squirrels and removed them from my yard rather than letting them "exit through a tunnel and stay on the property". Then Urban repaired the entry. PROBLEM SOLVED!

Annoying critters, GO AWAY.

We had an obnoxious woodpecker beating our house to pieces. We called Urban Wildlife and the came out to put up a deterrent. When the tech arrived he quickly determined that we had a beetle problem in our siding. Now we were aware that there was a beetle problem but didn't realize the two issues were related. Our house is in Roswell, like a lot of Roswell homes its cedar siding. Apparently the bugs and birds love it. The Urban guys were able to kill the bugs and annoy the woodpecker enough to go away, because apparently the law doesn't allow anything but harassment of the birds. Well played guys!

Urban Wildlife Control replied on 12-18-2014

I am not sure who this is as we had a bunch of woodpecker calls as of late, thanks for your words of affirmation!

On time, reasonably priced, hard working guys

Urban Wildlife Control sent out two guys, Dave and Richard, to inspect my house for a bat problem. They crawled all over the house and inspected everything. They found several issues and recommended correcting them all, even our wood rot issues and woodpecker damage. The price was very reasonable so my wife and I elected to contract them to do the work. The crew showed up on time and did all the work efficiently. They spent several hours repairing wood rot, fixing the roof line and screening gable vents. We now have a 5 year warranty against bats and squirrels getting into the attic. The house looks great again with all the freshly painted wood work.

Urban Wildlife Control replied on 12-18-2014

Make sure you keep those gutters clean. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, as they say. That will keep the new fascia and soffits in good condition for years to come.

Knowledgable guys every time

I have contracted urban wildlife control several times for bees, moles and woodpeckers. Every time they have sent someone out who knows their stuff and takes care of the problem. They are very punctual as well.

Heck yeah!

I am so glad we found these guys. After years of trying to use pest control companies to get rid of the rats Urban Wildlife Control was finally able to get rid of the rats. I hadn't even thought about it for two years until they called the other day to ask if we wanted to renew the warranty. They also gave me a deal on regular pest control service!

Great service for snakes and rats.

I saw a big copperhead in my yard. I called these guys and they made it out in an hour and grabbed the snake. They then told me it wasn't a copperhead and that people mis-identify them all the time, LOL! So they checked the yard out and told me the reason I had snakes was because of the rodents living under my deck. They came back a few days later and installed the rodent boxes to get rid of rats. Problems solved.

good job!

We had bats in our attic, our attic is big so we didn't realize it for a while. We had a large mess on our hands. Urban Wildlife Control employs bat specialist. They came out and assessed the situation and gave us an explanation of all the services required to reclaim our home. After four separate steps the bats were removed and the mess they left was removed and our attic was restored.

Urban Wildlife Control replied on 09-13-2013

Thanks, bats can be tricky and messy.

Thorough Inspection

To stop rats from entering our attic and crawlspace, I called 4 companies. Kris, with Urban Wildlife Control, conducted the most thorough inspection to find where the rats were coming in. Not once, but twice, he went into our shallow crawl space. A couple of his competitors never went into the crawl space; they simply measured the linear feet of roof for installing metal flashing. Kris and the installation crew were hard working and knowledgeable.

Urban Wildlife Control replied on 09-13-2013

Rats in the crawlspace can be tricky, this requires a detailed inspection of the crawlspace, which can a nasty job!
