I really recommend this repair guy!We just had a 5 year old Maytag refrigerator stop cooling properly. We had a side by side model and only the bottom shelves were cooled.He came out the same evening (a Friday night) we called and took a look. Identified the motor on the circulating fan as the problem. Had the to get a part since it was an unusual problem, but he fixed it first thing Monday morning, again arriving exactly when he said he would arrive. All for a very reasonable price that he was able to quote us after the first visit. The cost to come out and look was way less than the other places - and was applied to the repair, which itself was reasonable. It made a lot more sense to get our refrigerator repaired than to have it replaced!!

When my 6-year old Kenmore Elite refrigerator broke down on Friday evening, I called Sears. They would only be able to come out on Monday and would charge $85 just to show up, not to mention that they turned the call into some sort of sales pitch for some overpriced B.S. I found V&L Appliance Service on craigslist on Saturday morning and called them. Vlade said he could be at my house in 90 minutes. He was there on time, explained what was wrong, had the necessary parts, and didn't try to sell me any unnecessary services. The fridge was up and running again in about 30 minutes for a fraction of what Sears was going to charge. He provides a 90 day warranty on his work and is licensed and insured. \r\rI spent some time chatting with Vlade afterwards. He?s a big, friendly, hard-working, church-going guy from the Ukraine. You?ll feel comfortable having him in your home. I?ll definitely call him the next time I need appliance repair.\r
