Unfriendly and cold
I agree with all of the other reviews posted. The staff is unfriendly and quite cold. The prices here are ridiculous as well. I was charged a "disposal fee" of $15 which consisted of throwing Q-tips in the trash. Also, I brought my cat here for vaccinations which required a booster shot two weeks later. When I went in for the booster shot this vet attempted to charge me an office visit of $40 (even though I was there two weeks earlier). I would like to mention that the office visit consists of taking their temperature and their weight!! I am actually surprised this vet does not charge you to sit in the waiting room. I am fed up and will be taking my business elsewhere!!

"Insensitive" is an understatement.
"Insensitive" is an understatement. I took my cat in and when the Vet walked in she gave me all of the bad things that could be wrong without even looking at my cat.
This, to stir the "ATM Machine."
It could be cancer, or diabetes.
Uhm, could you please take a look at my cat to see what may be causing him to cough. They wanted to charge over 400 dollars just for tests. I told them to re-hydrate my cat, give him some antibiotics injected, and to take home. We got home and my cat went straight to his cat bowl demanding food. Maybe I should be the vet and charge them for the diagnosis of my cat.

Very Very High Priced
After many years as a customer of Angel Animal Hospital, I am taking my business elsewhere. They now do tests at rates which are so high only the richest people could afford them. For example, I was told it would be $600 to have my pet's teeth cleaned, but I had them cleaned elsewhere for $200, one-third the price. Also, many tests the doctor orders do not appear to be necessary. To dispose of needles is $4.99 a needle. Imagine the money they are making on that alone. I'm sure the disposal people are charging nowhere near $4.99 a needle. I do not blame the vet here. I believe it is the VCA people who are setting the prices. I would never ever go to another VCA owned animal hospital. I have found another vet and am going to tell them why I am quitting Angel Animal after all these many, many years. In this economy if they think raising their prices is going to keep the money pouring in, I think they need to go back to business school.

VCA Corporation VETS: WORST IN SD!
Do not take yoiur [pet to ANY VCA owned vet!!
First,I asked about the cost for a internal medicine doctor visit and a ultrasound for my cat. I was told they do not quote prices over the phone. I then had my husband call: he got a different story for the same woman: she couldn't give him a price because there are *different* types of ultrasounds. Oh really?,,,,,,he then asked for price on the office visit.same crap,,,,depends on the doctor. He then asked to speak to the manager. He got put on hold and same woman came back and said, what we ALL know:manager is not in right now.
Needless to say,,,we did not go there.
we tried another VCA vet,,,,same crapola.
BEWARE!

Seeing all the bad reviews on Yelp
Ok after seeing all the bad reviews on Yelp.com after when I initially posted I decided to try this place out again even though it was no longer in my neighborhood. When I call up to make an appointment for our kitty who was scratching a lot due to infestation of fleas. Well yet another place I could not get even through on a phone call without disliking the customer service. They acted like my concerns were not important and that I was negligent with our cat (fighting the fleas for 3 years and trying every vet suggestion in the book hasn't work obviously wasn't that important). Needless to say, we did not want to book an appointment with these folks and will no longer be recommending these folks anywhere.
