Short story: I was told that he'd come after his current job in 1PM hour. It was hours and then when he came, he didn't finish, said he'd be back and never showed up again. Furthermore, he pried open the bike's gas tank lock like an amateur, requiring it to be replaced at my expense and forced the seat lock open leaving it ajar and loose. Another "real" locksmith cleaned up his mess and I don't recommend you take the chance. I will asked to see a license next time.

I found myself locked inside my own house this morning. My front door's 2-sided lock internals decided to fail. Bracing for an expensive repair, I Google for best locksmith in town and decided to call Vista Locksmith. The phone attendant was totally courteous and professional over the phone. Told me the locksmith would be there in approx 30 mins if that was ok. better than ok for me, as i'm working from home all day. only a fire inside the house would make me worry. The locksmith comes over in about 25 mins (early) and takes about 30 mins to replace my crappy deadbolt with a better lock. The locksmith then fixes shoddy workmanship left behind from previous locksmith guy. The locksmith also keyed the new deadbolt (and lower lock left by previous locksmith) to the same key that i've been using for the last year, thereby saving me money as i won't have to get new keys. Finally, the locksmith gives me a quick instructional on how to use my new locks, tells me his work is under warranty and gives me the actual paper warranty for the lock he installed. seriously, all under 35 mins.
