Ordered a replacement screen door. Paid 1/2 down. After many weeks of waiting, told would only take 2, finally came out and door did not fit. Many more weeks go by with no communication. I leave several voice messages asking for a refund. I finally speak to owner 2 times and he promises me a refund. Still have not received after another 10 days. Very unethical business practice.

This place is just awful. They showed up 4 hours late and charged me $160.00 to replace rollers that didn't need to be replaced. My door rolled easily to begin with. During the installation they also bent the frame of my slider so now it rocks in and out on the track. They broke off the sensor for my home security system and didn't bother to fix it. My door still doesn't latch consistently and the lock was the reason I called them in the first place. I would write more detail, but I don't even want to waste any more of my time or money.

Valleywide replaced the rollers on my 4 foot sliding glass door and it is amazing! Before it took all my strength and 2 hands to open. Now, I can open it will 1 finger. It is like it is floating on air. Thank you Valleywide. I will definitely refer your companyto my friends and family.

Tony was fast and efficient. He came out to my house, on time, and got my door fixed in less than 30 minutes. He was around 25% less than the handyman service I contacted. He also told me I didn't need to replace my lock and adjusted it on the spot.

If you have time to waste, call them. Otherwise, move on. Late for estimate, Late for 1st install, rescheduled for Sat at 9 am - no one ever showed up or even called, even after I left msg at workplace. I guess they don't need money, or value others' time. TERRIBLE!!

While we hate to see any customer unhappy, here are the facts regarding this job and the clients "twist" on reality, because of her irritation.
1.) We don't go out to jobs to first estimate them (her first twist on reality) because we've been repairing doors for 20 years and don't need to see it to tell our customers what it costs to fix. Please call us and you will see for yourself if this is true. She was given a price quote over the phone which she was very excited about (we are the known industry price leader due to our volume and we can prove it). Because of her tight schedule, we agreed to go out and measure her door from the outside while she was still at work - and then ordered her materials.
2.) We try extremely hard to be on time for ALL jobs, but a previous job before this one caused a slight delay. While it's true that we were running late for the install time of Friday, March 13 5:30 PM (perhaps Friday the 13th was the problem!), we called and apologized before the scheduled time so that the customer was informed of the delay. We never leave a customer wondering where we are. At that time, she told us that she was having a dinner party shortly and wanted us to come back the next day, Saturday. We were already heavily booked for Saturday, but because we were at fault for running an hour behind, we agreed to fit her job in. However, (her second twist on reality) she was told we would CALL at 9:00 AM the next day to tell her when we could fit her job in, NOT that we would arrive at 9:00 AM the next day, just 16 hours after the appointment she cancelled. The client was called and we received her voicemail and a message was left to attempt to schedule. By the time we received the return call, it was too late for that day. You can imagine where it went from there, ie this review.
This is the absolute truth of the matter. Once again, we apologize in public for the hour delay in our scheduling - that is not a common occurence for us. We pride ourselves in being the best and most experienced sliding door repair business in the valley and we look forward to proving that to all concerned, much like we have done for the last 20 years. Thank you for your time. :)
I highly recommend Valley Wide Sliding Door for your repair requirements. VWSD telephone conversation made it easy to determine an estimate over the phone that was close to the actual work performed. VWSD came to the house to confirm the work and the bid while determining a date to perform the work. VWSD called to re-confirm the scheduled work day and time. They brought all the right equipment to perform the work. The work was performed both professionally and with great courtesy for all questions related to the task.
