Long-time regular thrift store donor and shopper. Value Village is one of many in an area of very generous donors. What makes it different from others is it has no dressing rooms but instead a 7-day return policy (credits have to be used same day). It also has two colors at 50% each week, not just one. They double staple prices onto the inside tag of each garment, which keeps the garment from being damaged but makes it difficult to discern size. Add up charges and number of items purchasing yourself prior to checkout and make sure your tally matches their tally. Do the same tally on your returns prior to that checkout as well. Careful at night. Rough area. During day, day laborers hang out by the road in the parking lot, but don't bother anyone. At night, there is sometimes shouting out there, but no one has ever bothered me personally. You can find some really nice stuff at this thrift store, as well as any, in the area -- Park Avenue Thrift, Salvation Army and Goodwill are all within 2 miles of each other there.
