Vecoma At The Yellow River

My best friend got married here, and I was very uptight going into the whole process. I wanted so badly for everything to be perfect. Her family was flying in from the other side of the country, it was her time to shine as the beautiful bride I knew she would be, and she had put the entire planning process solely on her own shoulders. She was frazzled, and I was worried.

But as soon as we got there, we were taken care of. The rehearsal process was easy, but detailed. We all knew where we needed to be and when. We felt relaxed going into the big day, and things were absolutely beautiful.

They take care of the ins and outs of your wedding with all your special touches. The menu was absolutely delicious, and we felt at home with the banquet hall all to ourselves. The wedding was in mid-July, outside, and the brief outdoor ceremony was met with a long, fun, air conditioned dance party for hours afterwards!

As a bridesmaid, the photography process wasn't drawn out or stressful. A fun break from all the primping and preparation! Caroline actually allowed us bridesmaids (all design students) to art direct some of the shots ourselves! The entire day's photography came out perfect, and Elizabeth couldn't have been happier.

Her family was pleased, all the visitors had a great time, and even after the sendoff, we were all very impressed by the lovely work done by the Vecoma family. You absolutely must see the venue to understand how lovely and secluded it is. Perfect!

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful fall wedding at Vecoma in November! I was very pleased with the the service of the waiters, staff, and DJ. The outdoor ceremony location is gorgeous and full of natural beauty. The inside of the building where the reception was held was just as gorgeous. It was a fairly large room, that had adequate space to fit any brides needs. The buffett was on the large deck right outside of the reception area. The food was amazing! My most favorite experience with Vecoma besides the amazing lighting, beautiful ammentities, and awesome food was the staff and waiters. There was never any empty plate of food or an empty glass. Needless to say, I had a WONDERFUL experience being a photographer at Vecoma At The Yellow River. I hope and pray to be able to attend and photograph more weddings there!

Vecoma is beautiful and a great value. However, they scheduled a rehearsal during my set up time (you have two hours prior to the ceremony to set up), and when the other party wouldn't leave when they were supposed to, the venue did not force them out. My mother, instead of being up in the room helping me get ready, had to confront the other party, and they were really rude to her. When my guests began to arrive, we had nowhere to put them since the other people were still there and the site was not set up. The other group did not leave until less than half an hour before my ceremony. After that was over, everything else ran very smoothly and the whole rest of the night was amazing.

Vecoma is awesome!!! I am so glad that the decision was made to have the wedding there. Inside and outside were absolutely beautiful and the Vecoma staff went above and beyond my expectations to make the wedding day special. I would highly recommend Vecoma to anybody for weddings or any other special events. Thank you Caroline for the pictures you took. Thank you so much Vecoma.

I had my ceremony & reception at Vecoma and it was PERFECT!! The grounds are amazing & the Price Is Right!! I honestly did not have one complaint! I tell my husband that I want to get married again (to him of course), but that is how much I loved our wedding. We are even having our first born's dedication done there on our anniversary!
