The medical practice I manage has used Vega Systems for many years. They were recommended to us by an employee who had used them for many years as well. We had such great service here that when a rental property of ours needed a repair, I of course, called Vega Systems. I highly recommend Vega Systems for ANY heating or air issues for commercial and residential.

We have used Vega Systems to install 3 systems ( two at our office and one at our home). Mark gave us great prices, the same or a little less than other companies we got quotes from. More importantly, he provided great service during and after installation, responding promptly when called and resolving any issues. We have also used the company for regular repairs and for regular maintenance. It is great to have a reliable person to call, even in emergencies, who I know will give me an honest opinion as to whether the system just needs a small repair or when a system is so old that replacing the system is the best recommendation. I was referred to Mark Vega from a trusted friend who had used his services for years, and I have referred nine to many of my friends, and all have been pleased.

Tasked only to add freon to working system, during service call system suddenly no longer worked and Vega stated $1600 new outside system was required. Not trusting the opinion, I hired another contractor later that day who added 2lbs of freon and the system has worked perfectly fine ever since. After hearing the system was actually fine, Vega demanded to be paid for his faulty service call. You have to be kidding me.

Vega reviewed job and agreed to work needed. After beginning work, he claimed it was more difficult than he thought and increased price. He was terminated by GC and paid. He then filed bogus lien against homeowner. Do not hire.

We feel that this review was probably written by the GC (General Contractor)of "Affordable Basement Visions" who hired us, not any homeowner. Please feel free to read her company's reviews, also on Kudzu. The following details our short dealings with her company. We are the second HVAC contractor that she had hired and fired in about 3 weeks time, and were first hired by her in mid-project to finish her last HVAC company's job they had begun. Upon beginning our first full project, she was to provide job plans in advance, as requested more than once, but failed to. So against our better judgement, we began the job for her "blind", so to speak. Upon arrival, she expected additional work done, more than our basic agreement called for, but expected them to all be included in our agreed basic system price. So we completed just the agreed main job, with no extra's, and after completion she then fired us through an E-mail, but refused to pay the full amount for the agreed job. After contacting her for payment and being refused again, she advised us to seek our payment in any manner we desired. We then contacted the homeowner, who was totally unaware of her actions. So when both parties refused us payment, a contractor's only legal recourse is to file a materialmen's lien, which unfortunately had to be filed.
Vega completed the HVAC system in a commercial building we'd purchased. It was a large job and our first commercial space. They were on schedule and completed the job neatly. They guaranteed their work and we would definitely recommend them again.
