Terrible customer service. My first appointment was cancelled because they were "overbooked". Waited over a month to get in again. I took off work for my "free consultation", and when I arrived I was... told I have to pay $100.00 because of my occupation as a nurse. Very disappointed. They should've screened upfront. I called the main line, and you can't even call the clinic directly. This was a total waste of my time and actually cost me time away from work.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
Having received good results in the past, I tried another round of schlerotherapy for spider veins. After allowing for the standard post-treatment bruising to heal, I was very disappointed in the... results. The treatment had produced even more spider veins than I began with. When I returned for reexamination, I was also quite disappointed in the doctor's response. Although he admitted that it was "failed treatment," he did not take any responsibility for the poor result (despite earlier ultrasound confirmation that I had no or minimal underlying vein issues upon which to place the blame). He only encouraged further costly diagnostic workup. He did not make any efforts to 'make it right.' Bottom line: I no longer trust this practice and will not return. You would be best advised to look elsewhere.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Absolutely hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Our gps took us the wrong way and when I called to get directions the lady at the front blonde real house reject told me she had no clue how to get there. After explaining we would be ten min late they wanted to reschedule knowing we just drove all the way from chatt, tn. After arriving and being told my insurance card was fake I was finally taken back to see the dr. He wasn't any better so I promptly left. All they care about is billing your insurance not customer service.
I initially went into the clinic with two spots on one leg that I wanted fixed. I had two treatments with injections. Now the initially spots that I went in for are three times as big, and I now have more broken veins in other spots that were not even noticeable before treatment. Think twice before you have this service done. Things can get worse instead of better. Should have left the $1500 in my savings account!
I started getting Dr. Aleman's services recently. The experience with the doctor and his assitant has been excellent so far, but patient services have been poor. The wait times have been very long sometimes. Having to wait more than hour for a 9:30 AM appointment is ridiculous. The lady at the front desk who checks in/out patients has an attitude. She is the least interested in assisting with any requests, be it helping to reschedule the next appointment to a suitable time slot or providing a billing statement for the services received so far. The other lady who provides details of insurance coverage etc. has been quite helpful so far. If it was not for the so far execellent services from Dr. Aleman and his assistant, I would have already switched to another doctor/clinic.
I had services done about 1 yr. ago now and the leg that was treated has started to hurt and I have had swelling. I really wish that I had not had any treatment done to my leg....
In December of 2011, I was treated using 'Veinwave' for spider veins on my cheeks and nose areas. The treatment was non-invasive and with minimal discomfort. Within days, the treated areas improved dramatically and within a couple of months, the veins all but disappeared. The results are beyond what I could have imgained. The treatment was $1000+ but was well worth it. I am very pleased with the outcome and with my experience with Dr. Aleman and his staff. Thx guys!
When I first went in September 2010. After back and forth they finally said insurance would pay. I finished the year with many back to back appointments to try to get it done. I admit I was late twice and they rescheduled .I always felt like it would never be done. The beginning of the year came and my insurance changed after 15 years. I never thought to tell them or never did they ask. When I came out of my injections I told them I had new insurance. I was told not to worry. We scheduled again and I asked are we sure I am covered. They gave me the "mumbo jumbo" that it would be ok. I waited a little longer and went for another treatment. Again same story but on this visit they hit me with a 500.00 bill. I was not expecting that at all. The billing manager just gave me another story. ( out of kindness I will not mention her name) Again not I scheduled another appointment and they said it would be taken care of. They blamed everything on insurance this and that. I finally did my part and called the insurance. They said they never received full chart. To make along story short I have never taken so much time ever on a bill to resolve. All I know I have another bill for 789.00 waiting to be paid and half of the treatment done. Overall I felt I was taken and it was to many visits. I have half good looking legs.......Make sure your insurance pays or you will have a big bill. They are good at stringing you along.
I went to this office for an ultrasound/mapping appointment. Upon arrival the front desk lady asked me to seat and wait. After waiting for about 20 minutes, she told of me that the technician was not there and that they will have to reschedule my appointment. This was in the middle of the day; I had to ask for time off at work to attend this appointment. Anyhow, I rescheduled the appointment and I had the mapping the week after the initial appointment. However, in the middle of the mapping, the technician decided to stop to place her lunch order, uh? Crazy! I was perplexed. The doctor called me the next day and explained the mapping and told me that someone was going to call to schedule an appointment to start treatment. It has been a month and no phone call from anyone there. Find somewhere more professional to go to. Donít waste your time.

Hi Elizalo, I'm sorry that your experience at our office was not up to par. What you describe is certainly not what we strive to accomplish and the issues that you brought up have been addressed. Please believe me when I say that it is very unusual to have any of those things happen here - much less have them all occur for the same patient. No wonder you're disappointed! I would appreciate it if you have a minute to call and speak directly to me so that I fully understand what happened. I would like to look into your case so that we figure out exactly what happened so that it doesn't happen again. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Dr. Aleman.
I had the best experience at Dr. Aleman's clinic. The whole staff was very helpful and warm. They were reassuring when I was nervous about having my procedure done, and Dr. Aleman talked me through the whole process. I would definitely go back if I need more treatments in the future and would highly recommend this clinic. As a bonus they also have free parking!

I had a positive and successful experience with Dr. Aleman. I had vericose veins on the back of both legs and they were treated and removed with just one session. I had minimal discomfort and only a small ammount of bruising afterwards. I would recommend this procedure to anyone with vericose veins because I am living proof that it works! I also enjoyed my experience with Dr. Aleman in particluar, and greatly appreciated his calming bedside manner. Thank you for helping me correct this problem and feel better about wearing dresses and bathing suits this summer!
I'm sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your experience in our office. As the nation's largest group of board certified phlebologists, patient satisfaction is highly important to us. Please contact us at 630-725-2755 or email@example.com so that we can address your concerns.
Recently, I went to this location for a consultation where I had an evaluation for a small area of varicose veins on the calf of my right leg. Subsequently, I spoke with the office manager who stated that the injections would not be covered by my insurance. At this time, I asked her the cost of the injections, and her reply was that the treatment would be determined after a $400.00 map was made. When I called to schedule the "map " appointment, again I asked the cost of the injections and was told that the treatment would be determined after the map was made. On the day of my map appointment, after a technician scanned my right leg, the office manager presented me with a proposal for the injections which was $3,000+ without the laser and $5,000+ with the laser. Obviously, the cost of their injections is ridiculous and exorbitant without insurance coverage. My complaint is that when I asked TWICE the cost of the injections without insurance, I should have been told that the injections cost thousands of dollars. I had no idea and would never have spent $400 on the map had I been honestly informed upfront! I called the Regional Office for a refund with no success. By the way, it's impossible to communicate with the local office where you're treated but instead have to speak with someone in a phone center in another state!

Rebecca - Thanks for pointing out your concerns. Since there is a wide range of costs depending on the treatment plan (which varies from patient to patient), our staff has been hesitant to quote costs without having the diagnostic ultrasound done so that a firm treatment plan is established. Otherwise, they really don't know the costs of your treatment. Also, folks tend to get upset if their treatment plan winds up being toward the high end of the range. Thanks to you, they now give a ballpark minimum figure so that people can get an idea of costs may be before proceeding with the ultrasound map. I appreciate your help in correcting the issue. Also, the phone calls are now routed directly to our clinic during business hours. Thanks for your help, Dr. Aleman.
Dr. Chad Aleman and his staff receive my highest recommendation. I was referred to Dr. Aleman after being diagnosed with chronic reflux in my left lower leg. Conservative treatments had failed and I was developing varicose veins, stasis dermatitis, and ulcerations. As a result of my deteriorating condition I became very depressed. Dr. Aleman conducted ultrasound mapping and recommended I receive ELT and sclerotherapy treatments. Certainly a much more appealing option to the old school approach of vein stripping! Now at three months after treatment I have seen a dramatic improvement. The varicose veins have shrunk as to be unnoticeable, dermatitis has faded, pains have subsided, and I feel good about myself again. I didnít visit the Vein Clinic for cosmetic improvements like many do, but Iíll certainly not shy away from wearing shorts now! Everyone I have dealt with in the Vein Clinic office has been exceptionally kind and very helpful. Treatment plans and costs were discussed extensively in advance and they were very helpful with issues related to my insurance coverage. I usually only write reviews based on negative experiences, but these treatments worked well enough for me to give the thumbs up. Thanks Dr. Aleman!
After they said that the vein treatment has never failed, it clearly failed on me. They then proposed several additional expensive treatments for me. Do not be deceived.
I apologize if you feel deceived. We do not deceive patients. If we did, we would not be open very long! Since these reviews are anonymous and medical information private, I can only speculate on your situation. I suspect that you had sclerotherapy (injections) of the veins on your skin surface and the first treatment attempt was unsuccessful. First, please let me say that I have never told a patient that "vein treatment has never failed." There are sections in vein disease textbooks dedicated to treatment failure. ANY type of medical treatment has a failure rate. Every human body is different and responds to treatment in a variable manner. Second, let me explain the treatment process so that you may understand how your treatment evolved into being more expensive than you had originally anticipated. Many patients come to us for treatment of spider or surface veins. Prior to treatment, they undergo screening ultrasound examinations to look for deeper sources. If there are deeper sources, they must be treated. I will refuse to treat surface veins without treating deeper sources first, specifically to avoid situations such as this. We do more free screening ultrasounds than anyone. Most physicians treat the surface veins without even looking with ultrasound prior to treatment. If there does not appear to be a deeper source, the surface is treated with sclerotherapy. This usually works well. If the first attempt at treatment is unsuccessful, the standard of care is to re-evaluate with ultrasound for subtle deeper sources that need to be treated using ultrasound-guidance. While this is very frustrating, it is very rare. If there are no deeper sources, re-treatment may be necessary with a stronger concentration of medication. Since the stronger concentration has a higher rate of side effects, it is always best to start at a lower concentration and re-treat, if necessary. It is very rare that this approach fails. I suspect that your situation was the first one that I outlined. Again, I apologize if you feel deceived. It was certainly not intentional. I would welcome you come back to re-evaluate your treatment plan at no cost to you. I hope that you understand, Dr. Chad Aleman
