I DO NOT NORMALLY WRITE REVIEWS ABOUT BUSINESSES-JUST DO NOT HAVE THE TIME..BUT I JUST HAD SUCH A HOOT OF A TIME AND LEFT THIS TANNING/BOUTIQUE FEELING ON TOP OF THE WORLD AND COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH MY EXPERIENCE THAT I BOUGHT A $750 TANNING PACKAGE! THE SALON IS BRIGHT, IMMACULATE,ORGANIZED,GREAT EQUIPMENT,CUTE BOUTIQUE,KNOWLEGEABLE FUN SALES GALS. THIS IS THE DAY AFTER AND I AM STILL LAUGHING AND CAN NOT WAIT TO GET MY SECOND DOSE OF SUNSHINE! (NOT JUST FOR MY TAN BUT ALSO FOR MY SOUL) OTHER BUSINESS OWNERS SHOULD VIIST JUST TO SEE HOW WELL A SMALL BUSINESS CAN BE RUN. THANKS EVERYONE AT VEERTICAL RAYZ

The salon prices are way overpriced. I was convinced to pay 97.00 for a month tanning. That's not even for the nice beds. This is just for the origional bed. While I was tanning for the first time after I had paid cash I decided I just wanted to pay for that one tan and not go through with the month plan, mainly because the price was absolutely rediculous and I looked at the "new summer schedule" and they aren't open until noon which conflicts with my work schedule, so I could hardly use it even. Besides that, they are always late to open the salon or somedays it will be closed for no reason. 4 out of 5 times I will actually be able to get in. She said she couldn't refund it, It was "against policy" ha. She was the owner. I know for a fact that it is illegal to do that if someone wants a refund in 72 hours of purchase. I've worked in salons my whole life. I know now why there is never anyone else at the salon.

I am sorry you were not satisfied, Cameron. You have tanned with Vertical Rayz for six months and applied for employment with us; never before have you expressed any concerns or your unhappiness to Steph or me. I will address your concerns through this media, since this is the choice you have made. Vertical Rayz has been in business for six years. Our pricing is very competetive for our Resort/Squaw Peak neighborhood and our A/C European Tanning Equipment(a 48 bulb bed w/ face tanner is our beginner bed!). Most tanning salons shorten their hours in the summer months. We have all our hours posted year round--we are still open the same days, shortening our days by two hours in July and August. We properly post our store policy on the wall and all receipts are also printed with our refund/exchange policies. We are closed only for major holidays and emergencies. If a customer is confused, we will gladly answer any and all questions. We welcome all of our customers comments and travel many different avenues in an attempt to acheive a meeting of the minds. When you filled out your employment application, you did not mention ever working for another salon in your whole 18 some years of life. It could of been of help in gaining employment with us. We do however; look for applicants who deal directly, fairly and honestly with a problem. If you would like to discuss further, feel free to call us.
This Salon serves the Pointe at Squaw neighborhood and has a great variety of tanning applications. Helpful and friendly staff as well as totally spotless throughout!! Not in expensive, but well worth the price!

Great little tanning boutique! Excellent and knowledgeable service and beds that give great color! Do the DOUBLE DIP for sure, tan in a bed then on to the spray tan immediately to follow! I was so brown! Oh, and this shop is CLEAN!!! Its a MUST VISIT!
