I read about Dr. Hirsh because I was considering stem cell treatment for my dog. I drove all the way from Woodstock and couldn't have been more pleased with the consultation. He ultimately explained to me that my dog's issue was not cartilage related, but rather bone related. He could have easily made thousands off of me but instead steered me in to a direction of an orthopedic vet. The consultation was free and lasted about 45 minutes in duration. He brought out skeletal models of the canine knee and dumbed it down for me enough to follow on the x-rays. I almost felt guilty when he refused to take any compensation for his time. I will recommend him to everyone I know who lives in the metro Atlanta area; that is how much I thought of his caring and educated demeanor. Another thing I appreciated about his office, especially in the day an age where doctors and vets alike try to turn and burn clients in order to squeeze in as many as possible, is that the lobby was virtually empty and my appointment schedule was adhered to without issue. Great visit overall.

Great vet and staff that you can trust, which almost impossible to put a price on. It would be nice if their doctor visit wasn't quite so high.

We used to board our pets at this vet/boarder. We don't go there anymore because they didn't have Sunday pet pick up. Most people when boarding pick up their pets Sunday. They had it set up so if you got back to town on Sunday, you had to wait to pick up your pet plus pay an extra day until Monday. Also, we boarded our dog and let them know our dog has separation anxiety and gets red itchy skin. It is pretty normal. The boarder tried to have the vet give him shots while we were gone and stick us with an un-approved vet bill. We refused it and never went back. We now use pet sitters in our own home.

Responsive, informative, caring. Never laughs at me for being a neurotic doggie Mom - he understands when I'm worried and always answers my questions. My dogs receive the best care. The staff is terriric!

We've been very pleased as well. Dr. Hirsh, his team of vets and their staff have been great with our cat, who has kidney problems. They were especially compassionate last year when we thought we were going to lose him. Their dedication and Dr. Hirsh's care actually restored his kidney levels to where they were prior to the crash. When we thought we'd have to move away for a career change, we were worried about finding a vet as good as Dr. Hirsh and his team. Also, since it's been commented on so much, I want to add I don't think their prices are any more expensive than any other vet I've been too. In any case, you get what you pay for.
