The Best Treatment We've Ever Had
Within 20 minutes of meeting Dr. Harris, I knew exactly what was ailing my cat, the possible treatment, cost estimate, and prognosis (including a biopsy and ultrasound).\r\rAfter a miserable experience at Colerain (Noah's Ark) Animal Clinic, I called Dr. Harris' office and asked for an appointment. The receptionist was very sympathetic and scheduled an emergency appointment for us the next day. \r\rWe waited less than 15 minutes to see Dr. Harris once we arrived. I expected her to sedate my cat upon seeing how grouchy she was, like every other vet we've ever seen. Instead, her two assistants calmed my untamable cat as much as they could and held her down for examination and administration of the drugs. They even let her roam around the room during the short waiting times between injections and research and did not complain about having to chase her down and put her back on the table each time. \r\rDr. Harris was very thorough and quick in examining my cat and explaining the illness. I felt she was completely honest, tactful, and professional; she told me if my cat did not feel any better after the first chemotherapy treatment, that she would recommend euthanasia. \r\rDr. Harris was a godsend. After crying my heart out and spending hundreds of dollars elsewhere, I finally got the answers I needed. I felt the cost of our visit was worth every penny and wholeheartedly recommend her practice.

You can't win them all....but you can do your best!!!!!
My dog Chloe and I were referred to Dr. Harris after a mass was discovered in her chest on an x-ray. A biopsy came back in conclusive. I found myself over the coming days in a constant battle to gain more information from an array of vets that felt that the situation was probably hopeless. \rThough I knew the prognosis was not good my dog was only 5 years old and had overcome so much including being an severely abused rescue dog that I was not willing to just give up on her. \rI received Dr. Harris's name from my primary vet who said that she was THE BEST and would be her best shot. Dr. Harris worked me in as an Emergency and we immediately started Chemotherapy. Within days she was getting better and improving greatly, however as we neared her next treatment she began to deteriorate again. At her next visit she received another dose of Chemo and once again got better and then deteriorated. As we neared her third treatment I felt some hard decisions were going to have to be made at the coming appointment because we did not seem to be getting ahead of the mass.\rDevastatingly on the eve of her third treatment my dear friend went outside, came back in, got a drink of water, and collapsed in the living room beside me. She was gone instantly.\rThough we were unable to beat it I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Harris and her staff. Chloe will forever be the dog that I compare all others to and she will forever be 5 years old.\rDr. Harris is the best and that was easily seen, I have no regrets and can honestly say that we did everything we could.\r

Wonderful care
I can't say enough about the care my dog received. My dog was very close to being put to sleep by my regular vet and I called the office and they were nice enough to get me in that day. Dr. Harris is absolutely wonderful. She gave my dog an ultrasound and scheduled a biopsy. Everything turned out fine! I realize when visiting an ocologist, this outcome is not the usual, but my dog and I were treated with utmost respect. Moral of the story: If you care about your pet, get a second opinion and never hesitate to use Dr. Harris.

Highly recommended
A great experience for both pet and owner. The vet has created a great environment for a stressful experience.
