* By Appointment Only
Other reviewers have it right. Rude and fraught with questionable billing practises. Our insurance advised us to find another provider. Nurse Kim however was nice and caring.
We've been with Vickery Pediatrics for close to four years. I regret pulling my children from their previous doctor, but it was too far of a drive. The waits are far too long, the cost of visits are... way over priced, the doctor seems like she's ready to end the visit before we even start. I've ended up paying on bills she refused to come down on that the insurance wouldn't cover. She refuses to bargin with the patients! I've never come across a doctor who would bill for the same amount they bill to the insurance company. I'd tell you to look else where before you go to this practice. There are far better doctors out there!VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Our children have been with Dr. Delaney's office for several years since she was in a small office and Vickery Pediatrics is a shell of what it once was. Expect long appointment times with some of longest in-patient room waits that you'll most likely ever see and with her practice being so much larger now, there is always a feeling of being rushed when Dr. Delaney is your doctor (e.g., Moving towards the door while you still have questions.), while there are others Doctors there as well. They've now dropped all Blue Cross & Blue Shield plans & point the blame on the Affordable Care Act, which is quite disingenuous. The billing out of her office is sky high and after nearly every claim submission, we're contacted to verify the claim and this has gone on for several years and has only occured with her office. Her office absurdly over-bills and the insurers have taken note. Office hours are on a reduced schedule and sick visits can be rather hard to come by. What was once a small, local practice, has turned into a larger office and it has lost all of the appeal of what made her practice so good. Very disappointing all around and I would highly suggest looking elsewhere.

My kids have been with Dr. Delaney since around 2004. I have one special needs child with a rare genetic syndrome. The staff is rude and inconsiderate. I usually have to wait when I call about 10 minutes. They also have the silliest rules which is frustrating. Dr. Delaney has issues with personal and medical boundaries. Dr. Delaney is curt and is focused on getting out of the room. I can never get a sick appointment. Sad as it may be, I don't even think of her when my kids have issues. The CHOA Forsyth Urgent practice in the same building as Delaney, does by far provide exceptional service and they are fast but they do not neglect kids due to time. I can't wait to move my kids. This practice was at one time excellent. But that time is past and I would never take my children to her. She is interested in homeopathic medicine and very reluctant to write prescriptions.

Dr. Delaney was always half way out the door while I still had questions. Always acted bothered if I had more than one question. Typical wait time was 45-60min which included sitting in exam room. Actual exam was rushed every time! 10-15min Major resistance when I expressed my decision to spread out inoculations for my daughter. Crazy thought, huh? Me, choosing how my daughter gets her vaccines. They helped me make my decision to seek out a better healthcare provider. Customer service is sub-par from the front counter to the head doctor. I don't think they can handle their patient load, or they just don't care due to the availability of potential patients out there. As far as society has come with modern medicine, the patient still lacks rights or the upper hand. We shouldn't have to pay for poor service, this alone will weed out places like this or force them to step up!

One one occasion they did not have the supplies to do blood tests and we were forced to drive to Children's Healthcare to get blood work done when our daughter had a fever of 103 degrees. On another occasion we were told that a prescription would be called in in a few minutes when in fact they did not call it in for an hour. They normally stop answering the phone 15 minutes prior to their posted closing time, so if you need something make sure it is not close to 5:00. The doctors are good, but the staff and their lack of customer service and uncaring attitude combined with the fact that they do not keep inventory of key supplies has made us look for another doctor.

Dr. Wendy is the complete physician, the best I have come across in my life. She talks to my child about issues, and she always follows up with written instructions. She is also available by email.

We have just moved to Alpharetta from Tucker and I needed to find a pediatrician near my house. I checked out her website and liked what I saw. I decided to go with her even though I had no references, I figured I could use common sense and see how comfortable I was with her. She is AWESOME! I made an appt for my son's 1yr check but he got sick before and we had to go in. She is the only dr in the practice which is what I wanted to find so that we could actually get to know our pediatrician. It seems that she really cares for your child as her own, he is not just some insurance claim. She spent time to explain and answered all my questions. I called in a few times with questions for the nurse and always got a call back. She doesn't have Saturday hours but if my son is that sick I will take him to Childrens.

We absolutely love Dr. Wendy and the staff at Vickery Pediatrics. They are great with the kids and my kids are actually excited to go to the pediatrician now. Scheduling appointments has been a breeze even on short notice and the wait is minimal. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a new pediatrician.
