i've been shopping there for a few years and will admit when i first started going there the employees where not very friendly, but as time past and i did get a smile and hello. not that i expect it all the time. those employees have to deal with alot from the customers too. i do understand because there has been so many times i have been in there shopping and kids are running around and where are their parents! i myself have had to tell these children to stop! i only have to deal with this for just the time i'm there. i don't blame them beside look at the working condition they have to deal with. if you don't like the service then don't shop there, more for me!....lol

The store offers average goods at average prices. Nothing special. However, the main reason I hate shopping here is the poor attitude and service from the employees. I have never been treated so rudely and not just on one occasion. Deciding I'd had enough on my last visit, I asked to speak with a manager. I had complaints about one employee in particular. Turned out...she WAS the manager. Too many great thrift stores in the area to put up with that!

I was treated so rudely at the Dayton Linden Ave. store. I shopped there for over 4 hrs. & then was rung up by the store manager. She had a awful attitude & a poor demeanor. I was undecided on a few items & kept asking what my total was, which seemed to annoy & frustrate her. After checking out I headed out the door & set off the security alarm. I went back to the counter to have a missed security tag removed from a shirt that she had failed to remove & she came over with a scowl on her face & jerked the shirt out of my hand. I expected her to remove the tag & check my bag for any other missed tags but instead she harshly informed me that she wouldn't sell me the shirt or any of my other items & would give me a refund instead. I was confused considering I had already purchased the items & plus they have a "all sales final" policy. I politely demanded a reason why & I received no explanation at all. I was very puzzled because if there were any problems at all with any of the items I purchased, then I'm sure she would've noticed them as she rang me up. I felt that it was easier for her to give me a refund than it was to check for & remove any security tags she missed while ringing me up. I tried to reason with her with no luck & still received no valid explanation. I ended up leaving disappointed with my refund & with tears for the loss of the items I was looking forward to enjoying & for the hours I wasted. I've never encountered such unprofessional customer service ever!!!
