How is that for customer service. They abuse your dog and then try to blame it on you. Never again.

I recently took my dog for his second hair cut. He is less than six months old and has already had one hair cut. Within the first 5 minutes the groomer complained about how matted he was. (Keep in mind the puppy is less than six months so was not that bad). The groomer said that most of the matting would need to be removed. I agreed, but did not agree to a complete shave. She said she would keep the cut in a teddy bear style as it was. When I came to pick my puppy up, he was unrecognizable. His original beautiful shiny white coat was skinned. His face was cut uneven and unfitting for his body. He is continuously whining from the razor burn and is so upset. I will never go back here. They made him look like a skinned cat. His adorable fluffy coat is now gone.

My vet recommended VIP when I first moved to Vinnings and I took my dog there and I had some problems but spoke to the owner about it. Well I took my dog to get groomed and on October 2,2010 and he came home with burns under his neck, stomach and legs from the blades they shaved him with.He is Shitzu, he was so miserable I had to get him treated. I will never take my dog or recommend any dog to them. It is very sad that they would do that to a dog.

We took our dog to VIP 5 or 6 times under the strong recommendation of our vet. She is a small, 14-year-old dog who hates to be bathed and groomed, but we had a groomer in the past who did a wonderful job (unfortunately, that groomer retired). VIP complained from the beginning that our dog was difficult, and each time we would ask if we should take her to another groomer, but they said they could take care of her. This last time, we brought her to VIP at 8:30am after reminding them--they already knew--that it was best to groom her early in the morning so she wouldn't be anxious and that she needed to be muzzled to make things easier. NINE HOURS later, we received a phone call saying our dog had not been bathed or groomed because they were unable to do so. When I expressed my displeasure upon picking her up and finding that her back was partially and asymmetrically shaved, the groomer in charge told me "I don't have to listen to this," and began walking away as soon as I started talking. I have never been treated this way at any business. What bothers me even more than the way they treated me, though, was that my 14-year-old dog was made to sit for 9 hours--after we brought her first thing in the morning--to go through that experience. This is absolutely unacceptable and the worst business practice I have ever come across, particularly in the animal world. No one should take their pet to VIP.

Recently I had the pleasure of using this service for my pets. The staff was friendly, experienced, and the quality of their work was exceptional. My pets came home looking and feeling great. I will definitely use them again.
