I have never been to a doctor's office with a more incompetent and unknowledgeable staff. After having to drive to (2) different labs for kits that they did not have on hand at the Vinings Medical Center, I had to call them to find out where to take the samples. I was told to bring them back to the office. I did, and they left me a VM at 4:48 that afternoon saying I had to come pick them up and drop them off somewhere else. I went back the next morning and they couldn't even tell me where I was supposed to take the samples. I spent over 45 minutes in their office (late for work) waiting for them to figure it out. I will NEVER return and I would NOT recommend Vining Medical Center to anyone.

They have no considerations for their old patients. Receptionist is rude and has no etiquette at all. After waiting for two months for a physical examination I was late by 25 minutes because of Bad traffic in Atlanta and also due to the fact that their new location is difficult to spot. They have recently moved their office to a location that looks like a group of townhouses. I went in circles before I could spot their office and as a result I was late. I had been fasting for more than 12 hours and the receptionist was rude and I was asked to reschedule...what... wait another two months.. Will never go back to them again.. At times I have waited for hours before I was seen by a doctor... Nothing special about this place.. Go to someone who will respect you...

I've been to so many doctors over the years and when I found Dr. Smith, I knew my search was over. She truly cares about her patients. In addition, her staff go above and beyond to help with insurance issues and other administrative burderns (most doctors charge a fee or push this kind of stuff back to the patients). I recommend Dr. Smith and her practice 100% - in fact all of my friends see her now and love her as much as I do.

After an awful experience at Piedmont Physicians I found Dr. Smith. I've only been a few times but have had no problems. Very courteous, thoughtful, takes time and knows what she's doing. Highly recommended.

Dr. Smith seemed more attentive to my questions and concerns than other doctors I've seen. She patiently answered all of my questions and was willing to discuss issues even as they didn't directly relate to medicine, for example my life situation and how that related to medical decisions. My only complaint is that I once had to wait a very long time in the waiting area, but I understand that they were dealing with a difficult patient at the time. Dr. Smith was apologetic, and I understand that things like that happen. I highly recommend Dr. Smith nonetheless.

We had a very negative experience with this practice. Not only was the staff very inconsistent in how they handled appointment scheduling, they also inappropriately handled some information we had given them. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

The person posting this comment was calling on behalf of a patient (the patient did not write this) regarding a potentially emergent situation. When we advised they needed to go to the nearest emergency treatment facility (instead of our office which is not an emergency treatment facility) they refused and became extremely argumentative. They have chosen to vent their frustration in this forum. That is their perogative; however, we acted in the best interest of the patient.
Thank you for your understanding.
Dr. Smith is very knowledgeable and friendly. I only waited about 30 min. as a new patient and was out of the office in little over an hour. I will def. be back again!
