My secretary can't cash her paycheck at Wachovia because she doesn't have an account. Even though I have my account there and the money is RIGHT there. Also, when Wachovia makes an error in my bill, they will correct it, however; I have to take time off work, and point it out to them. Conversley, if I make an error on a deposit slip and Wachovia corrects it, I am charged $25! When I asked for clarification regarding the charge, I was told, "That's just our policy." Interestingly enough, they are not willing to credit my account $25.00 if the error is determined to be Wachovia's. Although Wachovia is convenient (located right across the street) to my office, the convenience does not make up for the lack of customer service. It will be a hassle to move all my business and personal accounts, but once the year ends, that is exactly what I am going to do.
