I have never had trouble with any Wachovia employees in person. On occasion, I get charged random fees with no explanation and have to in turn figure out where the charge came from. It is usually the fault of Wachovia -- and they printed my checks all wrong. OTher than that, okay service.

Wachovia, with its many branch locations and ATMs, is convenient, however, I have never been impressed with their commitment to customer service. Ultimately, they are quick to levy fees when the customer makes a mistake, but slow to remove them or rectify an issue when they are at fault.

Wachovia has proven to me to be a bank oriented around good customer service (of high quality. They are able to meet the needs of everyone on any financial scale and look into other options that they wouldn't normally be ware are available to them; their hands-on advisors have always been helpful to me no matter which location!
