This was one of the most terrible experiences I've ever encountered in customer relations. I place a car in Walker Transmission care last June to have a transmission rebuilt. With the exception of this, the car started normally and was working fine. After they "fixed" the transmission, I get a car back that was screaming with pinging sounds from the engine. They worker, assured me that it was fine and maybe I needed a timing chain. (Ford Explorer). Long story short, I took the car to Ford and was told my engine was shot. Walker Transmission told me to bring it back to them so they will take a look. Not only did I have to keep calling for a status but come to learn that they never even looked at my car for fixing over a six month span. When I asked about a partial refund of the 1400 I'd spent, I was given every excuse in the book as to why they couldn't do that and they'd try to fix it. At any rate, they eventually agreed to buy the car from me for a set price and they reneged on that as well. Well, I finally had the car sold to a junk yard in April almost a year since this ordeal began. My advice, if you want sub-par service and not upfront and sincere customer service then Walker Transmission should be your place of business. Good luck!!!

I was traveling from South Carolina to my granddaughters birth in Alabama when my transmissions started slipping. I asked the attendent at the gas station I was at and he said to call Walkers. I made the call and they were very helpful. They got to my car the next day and had me on the road the following morning. I am very happy with the repair and now have a beautiful grandbaby. Thanks for helping me out so quickly.

I took my car to this company after having two other transmissions rebuilt there. Got my car back 1 week later the main seal blew car was never right after that and they refused to repair it and also would not refund my money I had to take the car somewhere else to have it fixed properly.
