Walter Andersen Nursery

I heard many nice compliments from my friends about the knowledgeable, helpful folks at Walter Andersen Nursery in Point Loma. When I had a problem with a contractor who did my landscaping incorrectly, I looked at the Walter Andersen website for help. They have a yard doctor, David Ross, who did a wonderful job diagnosing my problems and offering solutions to correct some poorly executed landscaping in my yard. He came out to my home and answered every question about the best plants for the different parts of my yard. David also pointed me in the right direction about how to proceed legally with a contractual violation by my contractor and even wrote a letter for me to use as evidence for my lawsuit. He recommended some great landscaping companies to correct the problem. David also addressed an issue that developed with SDG&E due to some palm trees interfering with cables that saved me many hundreds of dollars! This is a great company folks!

This is a wonderful nursery with a huge variety of plants and colors! I've shopped here for years, never had to bring anything back. Always the newest types and colors, especially of geraniums and roses. IT'S WELL WORTH THE TRIP FROM ANYWHERE!!!!

Walter Andersen is the place to go to find plants you will not see elsewhere. One of San Diego’s best garden centers.

I have often gone to Walter Andersen's when I had a plant or pest problem that I couldn't fix myself. They invariably had several answers to try before I called an exterminator. Most of the time they worked.
