WM recently stopped serving my area. We received short notice that service would be discontinued, and a new company would begin the next week; on a different day (no problem except for missing the 1st week). Letter explained to make all payments to new provider. I emailed asking for final bill, and received a reply weeks later with a $5 late fee included. The good news? The new company is cheaper and better.

They always have excuses as to why they didn't provide service. Garbage sits at curbe side for days on end. What is cool is that thier name is on the can while all the trash is blowing everywhere. When you call them up they are very non service related and don't care. They will make it sound like they will take care of you but they never do. Continued no service. I canceled them today after 10 years. I will also be canceling our dumpster service as well. They Don't care! Awful company or division.

They will tell you one thing to get you to sign a contract but do not write the terms on the contracts. Then they will mail you "updated contract" intermittedly which puts you in an extented contract, which also allows them to raise your rates. Very rude on phone and will not meet with you in person. Impossible to deal with.

Didn't pick up 4 times in 3 months. Broke a bottle in the middle of the street - picked up 1/2 the big pieces, left the rest. After calling about it - guy never came out to clean it up. Rude on the phone. Wouldn't give credit for instances they didn't pick up.
