Welcome Home Maids

I've been using WHM for close to 2 years now. Sure, there have been hiccups. There always are, when you get a new cleaning service. You can't wave a magic wand and have them (a) understand what you're picky about and (b) remember your list of 100 do-this-like-this things.

What matters for me about WHM is they listen. A quick "BTW, just a reminder" and it never happens again. I hardly EVER have to go to the manager because Dorothy, who cleans my house regularly, listens and is on the ball.

Everyone makes mistakes. They know how to not only fix them, but also make it better.

Let me just add that I have 7 indoor cats, so Dorothy always has a mess of hair to deal with. Also, I'm disabled & am almost always home when she's working, so I'm not just seeing the end product.

Welcome Home Maids does a fantastic job. I am always extremely comfortable having them in my home (for me, that's a big deal). They use environmentally friendly products, so the house never has a chemical smell when they're done. They communicate promptly via email.

My husband and I had several issues with this cleaning company. There were communication issues about appointment times, service to be done and costs for them. Also, the cleaning was not that good. My husband can do a better job! I still had dusty base boards, shelves that we're not cleaned and the couch was not vacuumed. We used the services of WHMs 2 times for an initial cleaning and follow up monthly and decided not to give them a 3rd attempt. It was more hassle dealing with them than to clean my own house. I'm not sure who wrote the reviews posted b/c I had a totally different experience.

I hate having to get a new cleaning lady/service, but was surprised when I first spoke to Vanessa at Welcome Home Maids. She came to my home to give me an estimate and was very reasonable. She is also very personable and appears to really understand her business. She wants to make sure that her clients are happy. The first cleaning, her worker ruined our dust ruffle and she was very upfront about it offering to have it fixed (if possible), or pay for it. When her seamstress couldn't repair it, she quickly made amends. I am very impressed with her and think that she will continue to do very well. I can't recommend her more highly.

My husband and I were a little hesitant about hiring a cleaning service. I was a neat freak before we adopted our daughter! However, they clean even more thoroughly than I did! We also would not hire any cleaning service that did not use "Green" products. We only use organic, safe products in our house. We have been very pleased with the service and would highly recommend them to anyone! I also feel the price is very fair. They are also very flexible and offer different tiers of services to fit your needs. I also like that I can add a service to my cleaning when needed, such as cleaning the refrigerator.
