Wells Fargo Banks--Unfriendly to out of staters
Twice now, I have deposited checks into Wells Fargo--depressed that there is no PNC in Nevada & I don't drive(PNC has a Phoenix, AZ branch). First out of state PNC check was held 19 days. WF bank kept $500 & $75 for fees. Second check from same PNC account,same routing number,HELD AGAIN--this time just 11 days.I am not the only out of state customer with this problem. I have met folks relocating to Nevada who had to fly back to their home state for downpayments on their new mortgages!! WF rushes you out the door, hoping you won't read booklet of hidden fees--outrageous! Transfer funds from checking to savings/vice versa+$37!!I earned 2 cents interest on $5,000 in a month! Can't wait to cancel account this Tuesday!
