I just went through the process of scheduling and registering for tests at the Woman's Center Very nice and competent. They have the process down well. They were very thorough and answered all my questions, provided directions even from the garage to the entrance, answered all my insurance/billing questions, etc... It was good to have this part of the process run so well, especially since the tests are not going to be so fun.

This hospital is wonderful if you are delievering a baby, but other than that I would run for my life!!! Dr. Hauck is a horrible, horrible doctor who has a terrible bed side manner. My mother went from bad to worse after he got ahold of her. He botched her surgery time and time again!!! Stay away from this hospital!

Had my daughter at Kennestone and the staff was great through my C-section and her stay in the NICU. They made a bumpy ride as comfortable as possible. All the nurses were helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive.

Sadly,I lost two pregnancies. They were both far enough along that I had to go through delivery. Both times, I had excellent care. The nurses and staff were sensitive and compassionate through this difficult time. I was extremely comfortable (my nurse even moved me to a better room so I would have a pretty view--she thought it would help boost my spirits!)

The team of nurses and doctors at the Kennestone NICU saved my son's life. I am eternally grateful to them & trust in them completely. The women's center is very nice & the nurses that cared for me were sweethearts.

I was hospitalized there for a seizure in 2003. My attending physician was sneering and condescending and wanted to commit me to a halfway house. One nurse actually slapped my hand when I tried to help her. They put me on a medicine that had to be discontinued because it gave me acute jaundice. An endless array of "specialists" made 30-second visits just to run up my bill. P.S. I'm fine today, with NO further help from them!

Well, we're definitely not in Dunwoody anymore if Kennestone is our new hospital for emergencies. Gross! My hubby and I were there the other night for 9 hours. They had 1 doctor on duty. Can you say Mayberry? The bathrooms were the dirtiest I have ever seen anywhere! The ER staff was indifferent except for a man named Brian, he was outstanding. Next time, we will drive out of our way for cleanliness and modern medicine.

I have had some mixed experiences at Kennestone Hospital over the years within their emergency and general hospital care. However, in December of 2006, I had surgery in their fairly new Women's Center. The surgery was long and hard. I thank God, my doctor, and surgical staff at Kennestone was saving my life! The doctors did not give up on me, and the nurses checked on me constantly to see that I got what I needed to get on my feet. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Husband went for severe abdominal pain. Sat on a gurney in the hall for 4 hours before CT scan. Finally got a room after 6 hrs only to be released 30 min later and told there was nothing they could find wrong. What?? Severe abdominal pain and they can not figure out what was wrong. Pain meds took way to long to get to him and the attitude of nurses, doctors and staff were that they did not care. Will report to who I can right now I am livid that we have a hospital like this out there. We will drive further next time.
