This is by far the best library in Las Vegas. It is on the campus of the community college off Charleston between Jones and Rainbow. The best selection of books on tape in town. Nice place to bring the kids too. They have story time during the week and on weekends.
I think this is the best library in the city of las vegas. I like all of the historical things they have. And they always have activities for the children.
My son fully enjoys his weekly trips to the library. The childrens section is simply awesome! There is always some kind of function being held a the library and everyone is very helpful. There are plenty of computers free and it is easy to find just what you are looking for.
The West Charleston library is one of the best Library out here. They have children Read a book night. They offer Ged Classes, and you can also get alot of people from people that are experts in there field.
The location and what it offers is just great. I go there sometimes to use the computers. And my grandkids loved it also. Lots of things to do for kids.
I would be lying if I said that this library has it all, but it is close to having it all. As a student this is one of the places that I frequent the most. I have to place it as one of the best.
You can't beat the Clark County Library system for offering essentially free books, movies, videos and other great services. I'm always pleased at the extent of their services. I just did an interlibrary loan for my son and received the book within a few days. Certainly beats driving around town. Their on-line offerings are so handy. You can print out all the books that are due and RENEW on-line as well. Cool. Children's Section is great and keeps my kids entertained for hours while I work on my laptop. I think they are offering wi-fi now. I could be wrong. Folks at the desk could be nicer, but hey, what do you want for free?
