Took my boyfriend's extended family here this morning and everyone loved it. I love having a go to place that is consistent and I know will impress. I've always had great servers, which I really appreciate, many of the midtown restaurants are lacking good service which turns us off to a place immediately. Good food, great atmosphere, and the dinner hours are really convenient. Even if they are busy the staff doesn't take it out on the customers, thanks for keeping your standards of service high!

After being told that it would be a 50 minute wait, we proceeded to wait for an hour and 45 minutes. After saying they were pushing 2 tables together at 1+30, the hostess promply forgot and we waited another 15 minutes beyond that. After being seated, we waited for about 10 minutes to see a waitress, who seemed like she would rather be doing something else. We put our orders in and waited. We got drinks and then food, the Belgian waffle tasted like it had been sitting out, and another of our party who got the burrito had egg shells in it. After notifying the waitress, another was brought out and with neither apology or ceremony was dumped on the table. Sorry wanting a burrito without shells. Needless to say I will NEVER visit this crappy restaurant again.

I go to West Egg regularly, since it's within a mile of both my home and my work. Their staff is friendly, and their food is great. For lunch, they have a great variety of unique sandwiches. Their fried egg sandwich, turkey meatloaf sandwich, and apple jack chicken sandwich are all very good. If you go for a weekend brunch, expect to wait about 20 to 30 minutes for a table. However, it's entirely worth it for their eggs benedict... possibly the best in Atlanta! And on that note, my only complaint about West Egg... they only serve eggs benedict on the weekends. I'm guessing that they don't make it during the week because of the hollandaise sauce. However as I mentioned, they have many great menu items that justify visiting on any day of the week.
