I was referred to Dr. King by one of his clients. I have a lot of cats, and he is the best vet I have ever been to. I had to rush my favorite cat Moses to him this morning, bypassing 4 other vets just to go to Dr. King. He is shy with people, but reached out his little paw to Dr. King. Sadly, poor little Moses had feline leukemia and had to be put to sleep because my sister and I have other cats. Thank you Dr. King and your staff for all you have done for us. You are a true blessing from God.

Dr. King and his staff are wonderful. My first experience was when I dropped by the office with Found Dog Flyer and the stray dog I had rescued from a nearby highway. They listened to my rescue story and our family's plan to foster the dog for a few days until we could find his owners. I mentioned that our family may not be able to keep the dog and I was trying to find a find a no-kill shelter in case we couldn't find the dog's owner. Julie told me about the rescue society that she works with, gave me a business card, and asked me to call her if I needed further information. I was so impressed with my first "visit", that I called Dr. King's office and made an appointment when our family decided to give the dog a forever home. Dr. King asked many questions about the dog's physical condition and demeanor when I rescued him, and then carefully examined Lucky and brought him up to date on immunizations. The exam was much more thorough than those given by the vet practice my family had been using, so I will be bringing our other furry family members to see Dr. King and his staff as well.

On the day I brought my animals, the front desk tech denied or negated any information I provided regarding where my animals came from and acted as if I did not know when their vaccines were due even though I had paperwork in hand and the phone number of the last clinic which provided vaccines. After being on the receiving end of this tech's exasperated rant, I left. This doctor may be inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Moving on....

I have been taking my pets to Dr. King for over 25 years, since before he opened his private practice (I moved when he moved). You won't find a more capable, honest and caring man than Dr. King, and his staff is wonderful as well. He is an excellent value, and I agree that he is the best vet in town! Also, after having a dog die at another boarding facility, I always bring my dogs here to board and I know they are in excellent hands.

After taking our dog to Dr King for over 10 years, there is no doubt she receives the best care available. We even take advantage of their boarding at times and have always been very happy.

Took my dog there for the first time yesterday and they were great! You can tell they really care about your pets. Dr. King was very attentive to any questions and made my dog feel very comfortable getting her vaccinations. (Even though she doesn't love it, she was no more nervous than usual) Reasonable prices as well, will continue to take my dog to them.

Seriously, I searched for some time after moving into metro Atlanta and tried several vet clinics, talked to many more --- no one can equal Dr. King's abilities, his staff, his compassion, his knowledge -- let alone that you get the very best care at a reasonable price. Cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.

I inherited my first dog when she was 7 years old. She is now 11+. She kept me up all night wheezing terribly. Dr. King and his staff had me come in first thing the next morning. He kept her that entire day to run some tests. She is now taking medication for a heart murmur and blood pressure. Having been to only one other expensive vet, who never consulted with me, I searched on the internet (this site) to find a highly rated vet. Dr. King is very compassionate with both the pet and the owner. He truly cares about animals. I am very happy that I found him.

Dr. King is an exceptional veterinarian. He and his wonderful staff at Westside Veterinary Hospital, truly care about your pets. If there was ever a person that was in an occupation because of their love of that profession, it's Dr. King.

Thanks to Dr. King and his amazing staff, my 7 year old boy is doing FANTASTIC only 2 short weeks after nearly being killed by a vicious, aggressive dog that is nearly twice his size. I am new to Cobb county and hadn't yet found a vet for my two pups when all this happened, it was also January 2nd, at 8am, the first day after a long holiday break. Not to mention that I'd been turned down by two other practices because of my dog's breed (Shar-Pei) and the nature of his emergency (fight wounds.) He's really lucky to be alive, but even luckier that we found this group. They are the most caring, compassionate, kind, experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and effective veterinary we've ever been too. Thank you SO SO SO much, I'll be taking both my babies to Dr. King from now on. They are extremely reasonably priced and did not even charge me for boarding him overnight when Dr. King felt they should keep him for observation. And I probably called them over a hundred times the first week of his recovery with a zillion questions and they were always happy to help. These people are truly one of a kind, I won't ever go anywhere else.

Dr. King is God's gift to the pet owner. Dr. King not only has a love for animals, but has a genuine concern for their well being. Since 1992 He has taken excellent care of my dogs and cats (too many to mention). He has saved the life of one dog and one cat that emergency rooms didn't think would live. His cost is lower than most and because the service there is full of compassion and expertise (dog or cat) you know you will be back.

Our dog died last Saturday there at the vet and I have never been surrounded by such compassionate people. Dr. King is a great vet and his staff is the best.

I have been going to Dr. King for at least 12 years and would not consider going anywhere else. I pass 5 other vet offices on my way to Westside Veterinary, but he is well worth the travel. He is the most gentle, compassionate vet I have ever experienced. My 2 dogs love him and his staff. He is the only vet there so you know you are always going to see him and not a vet on a rotating schedule. He saved my one dog's life about 10 years ago. Kept him all weekend, took him home with him so he could rotate him every hour. Dr. King didn't get much sleep that night, but saved my dog's life. His rates are much lower than other vets, and he always gives me a multi-pet discount. I highly recommend Dr. King to anybody with a cat, dog, small cage pet, etc. I pray he doesn't retire anytime soon.

Dr. Philip King has been handling small pets for many years. He is tops when it comes to knowing about the smaller breeds. Since I am a Maltese breeder it is important to have someone who is skilled and familure with smaller breeds. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone.
