Small venue with tons o' nostalgia, 8/07/2008

The Whiskey still is a great simple venue. It is small on a corner lot. Parking is terrible. I remember them having valet only on some nights we went, but was able to find street parking, something... new in recent years. All in all if I'm in the area and there is a band on the markee worth checking out, I go happily to this venue. Upstairs loungy sort of area and downtown hang out. This place does need more seating for at least in between sets so you can relax and enjoy your beverage. There's a bar on both floors so if you wanted to stay put (or maybe had to if it was overcrowded) you could easily. The bathrooms have always been small and seedy, even for us ladies, and it looks like it hasn't changed much since the Doors played there. This is something that does need improvement for sure.

A Legend, 6/01/2008

Many have come and gone here at this legend of a club; you can still catch up and comers here. Wednesday nights are the best.
