Wilkinson Tire Center

My dad used to take his cars here for many many years. He always had great experiences, but that has seemed to go by the wayside. Before my dad got too old to get around, the owner, Millard was the best and always did him right. It seems like the customer service that the owner built has left once he left as well. The loud, pushy guy behind the counter was over the top when my mom had recently gone in for some basic repairs. I'm guessing since she is older that the salesman need to yell, assuming that she was hard of hearing. She felt uncomfortable and called me. I recommended that she get back in the car and leave, and we would find somewhere else to have the car looked at. At that point, the salesman tried the ol' scare tactic on her. "If you pull out of here, we can't be responsible for what might happen!!" Hoping she would be crippled in fear and let them work on it. I just wonder how much of this goes on now that Millard isn't around to run his shop.

I have been patronizing Wilkinson Tire Center for over 15 years and whenever they have given me a quote for service, the actual bill has always been less than or equal to what they quoted and never over.

When they felt that a specialized service dealer was warranted for a problem that seemed to be eluding them, they were quick to recommend that I take that route, rather than charging me by the hour to continue trying to figure it out.

They have always been accomodating to me and my schedule, including taking me home and picking me up after my vehicle was serviced (I live a couple of miles away).

Every time I go there, I always see other repeat customers and I know they are repeat customers because of their dialogue and the obvious rapport between them and the staff.

A piece of advice: Get there between 7:30 and 8:00AM, if you want them to get right on your vehicle while you wait. They fill their day very quickly, as they have a large and loyal following of customers, like myself.

It's hard to find both competent and honest auto mechanics in this day and age, but Wilkinson Tire Center is a rare gem in Tucker, Georgia. I trust them completely.

In the past, I would agree with the other comments. In May 2010, I took my car in for a noise when turning. Wilkinson checked the car & said the noise was the brakes and rotors which would cost around $400. This did not sound right and I took the car to another shop. They found that the noise was caused by low power steering fluid and topped it off. Problem fixed.

I love this place. Friendly, professional service. Worth the price for the extra attention they give. All questions answered. Honest, no-pressure service. Fair price.

You may find better prices somewhere else, but Wilkinson will always do the job better. They stand behind their work, very honest, and good people. They are incredible with tires and alignment. Been using them for over 10 years. They are the best.
