It was with trepidation, after reading some of these reviews that I kept my appointment with Bill at William David Salon. My fiend & hairdresser of more than 10 years passed away suddenly and I was lost. I didn't get my hair cut or colored for months.I knew I had to see someone, but who? Bill was amazing! He gave me a great haircut, one that flattered my features and the color was just what I needed. I am so happy with my new hairdresser who took the time to understand me and my hair needs. Yes, Bill talked about his experience and I was glad to know I was in such experienced hands. I will always go back to Bill who brought my hair back to life.

New Owner corrected error. This salon has been wonderful to work with because they took responsibilty for error. They have been very proactive in helping me and making it right. I highly recommend them for being proactive and correcting a problem with new customer. pleasure to work with salon new ownership.

WORST SALON- BEWARE! I do not have enough time, or space to tell you my entire experience but will sum it up- I was there for over 6 hours, for services that should have taken only 2, or 3 max! The stylist could not get the color right (I am a dark burnette-shouldn't be difficult) and by the 3rd application of color I told her my scalp was burning- her reply," sorry, it will just be a few more minutes" WHAT? I wonder if she even has the proper credentals to do hair? The treatment did not make any difference, and it's one of four I have had in my life and the only one that made no impact at all.I left with my hair to dark, fustrated, and having spent an entire day there only to have the manager inform me she wouldn't accept my sweetjack coupon and was asked to pay over $300.00 for this! In a nutshell, they are unprofessional, do not know what they are doing, have no concern for your time or welfare and lack any customer service skills- On top of overcharging! BE WARNED!

Due to the difference in texture, thickness and condition of our different clients hair, we offer different varieties of treatments so that we can ensure that they receive the service that bets fits the needs of their hair type. Also, there are different levels of treatment that last for different lengths of time, with those that last longer having a higher cost. Did you not notice any results upon leaving the salon or once you got home? Regardless, please contact the salon and we will do our best to address your situation. We sincerely apologize that you were not pleased with the results or your experience and want you to address that.

Was a great salon up until about 9 months ago. The owner seems to have other priorities than his customers lately. AC hasn't been working properly for several weeks now, yet he doesn't seem to be doing what needs done to get it fixed. Do you want to go to a salon in the middle of August where the AC doesn't work? He spreads himself too thin and makes his clients wait - thinking apologizing over and over will make up for wasting their time. Time to take a step back and think about who comes first - your CUSTOMERS! Very sad, as it was a great salon a couple years ago.

Horrible experience with this salon. I purchased a "half off depot" coupon ($75)for a keratin blow out. When I got to the salon the owner came over right away and told me that the treatment I paid for wouldn't last in my hair type very long. He told me there was another treatment that would cost $75 more, but would only last a few weeks longer than the first one. The other two options, which he felt were the right choices for me, cost $150 and $200 more. I couldn't afford the two higher options, but wanted some results. I had already purchased the Coupon and was at the salon, so I agreed to pay the extra $75. I followed washing instructions, etc., (including purchasing the $35 shampoo that I "HAD" to have to make the results last). With tip, I spent well over $200. For NOTHING! My hair was not smoother, silkier or straighter as the "Half Off Depot" coupon promised. Nowhere in the offer did it state that results may differ depending on hair type. "Half Off Depot" refunded my money, but when I called William David Salon, the hairdresser told me the owner had explained that the results wouldn't be very good. The owner actually told me the results wouldn't last nearly as long, not that there wouldn't be ANY result. I wrote a professional letter to the salon but was told the same thing--basically, too bad. I was very disappointed and feel like this was a classic "bait and switch" scheme. I will NEVER go to this salon again!

OVER PRICED, UNDER RATED! My appointment was switched to owner w/o my permission, he charged $95 for a 10 minute haircut, which was shorter on one side than the other. I pointed this out and he told me that it was just the way it was styled. My hair is short and fine; I just wanted to keep my swing cut, not much to it. I used a $50 groupon for $110 worth of service. My final bill w/ foils, conditioner, cut and tip was $300! Color was great, cut was awful. The staff blew me off when I called to advise them of the situation. I was passed off from one person to the next. Left message for Bill to call me, which never happened. DON'T USE THEIR SERVICES!

In reading the reviews on Kudzu for this salon, I noticed at least 3 or more that were obviously written by the same person (same style, same grammatical errors, same spelling errors, etc.). Kind of sneaky & makes me question the salon. Just a heads up...I may be wrong. Please note that I have never been to the salon so don't pay attn. to my rating...If I do go, I'll definitely leave an update.

Moving to Alpharetta from Florida, I was very anxious about going to a new stylist. I began doing my research by asking women I came in contact with that had fabulous hair/ color where they got their hair done. Common answer...William David Salon. I went, did color, cut, deep condition. Bill is AMAZING, my hair never looked better! Thanks Bill, my search is over. Yes, you CAN go down the street to just ANY salon, it may be less expensive, but remember... Nothing grows out slower than a BAD haircut! I am totally devoted to this salon now! Worth every bit of the money spent. I am the one that is now asked, "Who does your hair?"

the staff was so chill and fun...i hate getting my hair done because i hate waiting to get things done on me but they made it like it was nothing! i got the keratin treatment done and nothing was half-assed with that either.... bill and ashley took their time and did not let me leave until they thought it was perfect. perfectionists?? yes but with good reason. money well spent i think! and everyone i send ..they five me $15 off my next service per person! hellz yeah!

and that never happens! so if he noticed and liked it then there is something def right! and he says he will pay for hair as long as i go back. so ladies trust in this salon! when i walked in all i said was..."just do what you think will look good on me!" and they did! and the wine made it more fun... and the whole staff were so good looking wich helps to trust them even more (fun and professional)..cant wait to go back!

Gift??? Well she gave me the gift of great color and beautiful hair. I didn't think I could like my hair, no less love it. She really gave me more than I expected. I thought i'd get the same What do you want today? I got the whole package and I look awesome. Ashley knows her stuff and made me feel beautiful again. Thanks Ashley... We are proud to have ashley, she is a great stylist and really cares about the business and all of her guests.
I came into the salon looking for a great haircut, I left feeling like an Italian GOD. Ashley and Tamara gave me the type of hair ive always wanted. Ashey has the goods. She reccomended color and wow the compliments haven't stopped since I walked out the door. This old"guido" didn't think that he'd get a spring put back in his step with a little color. WOW is all I can say. I look awesome. Don't let me stop without sayin' that Tamara gave me the best shampoo i've ever had and she is a seasoned pro. Loved it and ill bet you will too.

What can be said...? My experience at the original was great and I just went to the new Buckhead location and Wow, It's truly awesome. I have always received excellent service and beautiful hair, but the new location is simply put... Exceptional. I loved my experience. i'm not just telling you, I'm telling everybody.
