Do NOT use their residents' portal..., 8/05/2011

Complex is very nice. 2.5 years here, no problems. Except that last month, they overcharged me $330 and have yet to fix it (AMENDED, see below) while I accrue overdraft charges for each day they... don't. Do NOT use their residents' portal for automatic rent deductions - bring a check to the office instead. (Plus, the residents' portal stores your password in plaintext - ask any IT geek why that is a BAD idea...) I would've stayed here indefinitely, if not for this mixup. Now, I'll be moving as soon as my lease is up. A shame - it really is a nice community. AMENDED: Since writing this (but without having seen it!) several members of the Williamsburg staff have gone to GREAT lengths to resolve this problem for me as quickly as possible. Mistakes happen - it's what the company does to fix them that counts, and at this point I have to say that Williamsburg has been surprisingly excellent on that count. I've changed my ratings accordingly. But the part about passwords being stored in plaintext still applies...
