As dispatcher at Wilson Air I spoke to this customer quoting our diagnostic charge. Plainly telling them there would be additional charges for finishing the poor installation job not completed by contractor they hired to do the work originally. I further told customer that upon assessing the work required we would proceed with their permission. They gave permission; the technician got their air working. However he found a restriction in the outdoor unit not allowing heat to work. We also informed the customer there was a broken fitting on condensate pump, since his air was now working it would possibly leak water, the customer wouldn't have noticed before because the a/c had not been working. We filled out bill for diagnostic plus per hour labor as quoted leaving the customer with cooling. He also informed customer we would be happy to return to fix the restriction that was affecting the heating system. Customer called Wilson Air a few days later to complain about the heat still not working and the cost, stating they had a THIRD company make heat repair in 15 minutes. In this review someone else came out and charged his other unit in 15 minutes. Reviewer seems to say our technician may have done something to the other unit. Preposterous is all that needs saying. We asked to see other companies' invoice and if in error a refund would be considered. To date, this customer has not followed through on this request. We stand behind our work 100%!

I was quoted one price over the phone. When the technician showed up, he had a totally different price which was a lot more. Bottom line, over 3 hours later, he opened two valves and the rest of the time was spent on "researching" the problem. $460 later, the technician still wasn't sure what the problem was and our unit still is not fixed and will not provide heat. We ended up shutting him down and will call in a company that can trouble shoot the unit and fix it within a timely manner. The day after the technician was out to fix our downstairs unit, our upstairs unit stopped working..coincidence?? We called in a different company and within 15 minutes, he had the unit diagnosed and fixed. All it needed was to be charged.Works perfect now. Wilsons air conditioning is a complete rip off!!!

I've always wondered what motivates people to take time out of their busy day to write reviews. Yesterday capped over a decade of partnership with Wilson Air Conditioning. The company from Mr. Wilson, to the knowledgeable and understanding women that direct the dispatch, to the earnest and dedicated repairmen that stay with a problem until it is corrected; are nothing short of amazing in a world that has gone customer service limp. After the call is made, a service man is sent quickly within the promised time window, with a courtesy call as he leaves his last job for mine. The men are polite and professional and have always answered my questions patiently. As far as the measure of their work, they have nursed along a poorly installed, (by someone else) dubious quality 20 year-old unit for at least 10 years. The preventative maintenance program has paid for itself, but think of what I'm saying here. At any time they could have given up on this unit and sold me a new one but they persevered and it hasn't cost me any more than the PM plan I would have had anyway! Lately my family has been taking care of an elderly parent and last night(friday) her A/C unit failed again. Jimmy from Wilson arrived within an hour and did some of the best work I have ever seen to correct a problem that he had only a quick phone consult on. But that in itself is another example of service you just don't get anywhere else. This is the best home air conditioning contractor in the metro Atlanta area.
