Irony = Commitment to excellence, 3/29/2011

My experience was ironic considering this company's web site boasts about it's commitment to excellence. I called 12/13/10 to make an appt for delivery on 12/15/10. I was told that I would get a... call sometime before delivery of a 2 hour window for delivery. I took a day off of work to make myself available. Call came in the afternoon to tell me that it would be between 3-5pm. During this phone call, I made it clear that I had other obligations after 5 and the delivery had to be there no later than 5pm. Come 5:20 and no sign of Wilson trucking nor a call, I called dispatch and explained that their driver was very late and I could not wait any longer. I wasted a vacation day sitting around my house all day. That person rescheduled for the next day. I explained that could not take another vacation day, therefore the delivery must happen after 4:30pm. Dispatch understood and noted this. on approx 2pm 12/16/10 the driver called me to say that he is on the way to my house. I explained to him this was not the arrangement and he said that he was told to make the delivery at that time. I left work early to accommodate the driver. While rushing home, the driver calls me back to say dispatch changed his route making him arrive in evening like around 8pm. I pull up in my driveway and approx $4000 of new auto parts, left unsecured nor inspected nor signed for on a rainy day. I spoke to several reps in management, none of which cared. All were insulting and condescending
