This guy is very strange. He doesn't seem to listen and makes lots of comments in response to what you are telling him - trying to be funny or something but he's not and comes across as dismissive. He seems arrogant and I left with no confidence in his abilities. In fact, I was so frustrated when he sent me to get blood work with no real explanation as to why or what he was looking for, I decided that was it - no more dealing with him or his practice. Will find someone else if I need to see another rheumatologist. This was on top of waiting about 1 1/2 before I even saw him. A waste of 3 hours of my day.

Dr. William Hayes Wilson shows callous and flippant disregard for the health of his patients. After filling prescriptions for 2 years, Dr. William Hayes Wilson, without notice cut off all prescriptions until I made another appointment to see him. Ok, I get that doctors need to make money and that is fine and good but he was booked up two and a half months in advance and was NOT willing to prescribe a maintenance dose of medication to get me by until HIS schedule could accommodate seeing me months later. As a result of not receiving a maintenance dose of medication, half the skin on the top of my head has literally come off and my symptoms continue to grow worse. After pleading for help to combat my medical condition I was told that is "too bad" and it is my problem. His office manager has no idea what is going on in this office, was rude and uses double negatives as a part of her regular speech which leads me to believe her level of education is not suited for one to be working in the medical field. I would highly recommend Dr. William Hayes Wilson if you would like to be fortunate enough to be treated by a pompous, arrogant, pudgy SOB who will lift his glasses just to look down his nose at you but will not lift a finger to help you should find yourself in need.

Dr. Wilson is terrific. You will not go wrong with him. While you may have to wait a while to see him (I get the first appt in the morning and still have to wait!), he is well worth every moment of waiting. I have gone in for some of my appts not feeling well at all. By the time I leave, I am laughing. Dr. Wilson knows how to make you feel at ease. He is very reassuring. He is the best!!!

If you're looking for a doctor who will listen to you and treat you as an individual, AND answer your questions, you can count on Dr. Hayes Wilson. You might wait a while in his office, but when you have your turn with him, you'll get his full attention. Well worth the wait both in the waiting room and to get on his calendar. He wants to help you feel better, which I loved!
