I am a nurse and have been in this area for 4 1/2 yrs. Like most nurses, I don't take time for myself, so I didn't have an OB/GYN. I knew I needed a hysterectomy and probably some bladder work. Being a nurse definitely has it's advantages, and instead of reading reviews, or asking other patients, I did my research by talking to the nurses who take care of his patients. When I asked who was good, I repeatedly heard Dr. Winsom's name and I was not disappointed. He's very thorough and patient, has a great bedside manner, and utilizes the latest technologies. I had my hysterectomy and bladder sling utilizing the belly-button approach, so instead of having 3 laproscopic sites, my belly button was used as a single entry point and the scar won't be visible. I'm not vain, but who wants unnecessary scars? Anyway, everything went great, his office staff were very efficient and follow-up was also quick and easy. I will definitely recommend Dr. Windom to others as an outstanding surgeon.

He is the best, most caring dr. He treats you like you are his favorite patient and knows what he is talking about. I was 1st referred to him from within the practice for infertility issues. Within 6 months I was pregnant with my 1st, and am now the proud mom of 4. I recommend Dr. Windom to all my friends!

Dr. Windom is very caring, he remembers your history, and he takes the time to answer all your questions. He makes you feel as if you are his only patient - not just a number. He did an excellent job with both of my c-sections.

I have been seeing Dr. Windom for years and he is the absolute best OB/GYN ever! I've seen other doctors at the practice, but he is by far the best. He always takes time to answer all of my questions, remembers things about my history there, and always makes me feel comfortable. His nurses are also great!

At my first visit(consultation) Dr. Windom listened carefully, asked questions and then examined me. After the examination, he explained his diagnosis and we discussed my options for treatment. My husband came with me for pre-op appointment and was very impressed. His exact words were "competent and confident". I had a long list of questions and Dr. Windom did a great job of answering them. This is a busy office but I never felt rushed. Staff is friendly and competent. Dr. Windom is not only knowledgeable and competent, but caring and willing to take the time to answer questions.

Dr. Windom was very knowledgable. He knew what he was talking about and what the situation is. Unofortunately, I think he was very busy the day that he saw me (my first visit) because it seemed like his mouth was on turbo! He was going a million miles a minute! I had questions and what he was telling me was making me scared and concerened but I didn't feel like I could communicate that because he seemed..........well sort of rushed. He was very nice and we met before in his office before I got in the stirrups but I left feeling like I didn't understand. Even the nurse told me to "just go an look it up on the internet". I'm coming from a doctor that would sit down after the examination and answer (patiently) every question that I thought I could think of. And after I would ask them, he would read my face to make sure that I was telling the truth. Dr. Windom couldn't compare to that. I think I'll find another doctor.
