My Dog was diagnosed with SARDS about a year and a half ago. Dr. Winston treated him and it seemed to help lengthen the time before he lost most of his sight. However, once I was told according to his tests he could not see, service stopped after this. My Dog still could see outside and wanted to discuss whether we should keep on the same path. Dr. Winston told assitant to call and refused to call me back saying nothing we could do. Even if there was nothing we could do, a call back to speak about it would have been nice. Assistant said sorry but she is too busy for you. I was very disappointed. I will be sure to let folks know this when they are considering Dr. Winston's services. While she is a good doctor for your pet, she appears not to be equally a compassionate person

I first met Dr. Winston and her staff in 2007. I was told by an Alpharetta "ER clinic" that my dog had a slipped lens on his right eye. This was completely incorrect. Dr. Winston correctly diagnosed my dog's issue and treated him. The outcome was not favorable in this case but her staff was wonderful.
I now have a dog with diabetes and cataracts are inevitable. She has had her baseline appt and again, Dr. Winston and her staff have been very understanding and willing to explain everything. I will have the surgery to remove my dogs cataracts and I wouldn't trust her eyes to anyone else.

Dr. Winston removed my dog's left eye 2 years ago. It was a sad experience for my family, but Dr. Winston and her amazing staff held our hand through the entire process and reassured us over and over we were doing the right thing. My dog now has to have his right eye removed and we are having Dr. Winston perform surgery again. There is no one better then she and her staff. They are very patient, very loving and will do the right thing for your pet. She helped us maintain my dog's right eye for the past two years and we thank her for that.

I came to know Dr Winston & loving staff about 2002, was reffered by vet to exam my furbaby, Ginger's eye.She,Ginger had already had one eye removed when brought home as a rescue.
Dr Winston tried so hard to help keep her eye from being removed. However, it did have to come out. Dr.Winston and each and every assistant, nurse, receptionist,everyone became like family and took such good care of Ginger and us.
We lost Ginger in 2005. But I HIGHLY recommend Dr.Winston for anyone needing her services. God Bless her and her staff.

Dr. Winstone took a lot of time with my dog, who had her eye removed about 4 months ago by another vet. She was performing a follow-up on her remaining eye. She explained in good detail the issues and risks and what treatment we should go with. I really like her calm, knowledgeable manner. The little dog behind the welcome counter who brings your receipt to you is precious!
