these guys lied to my wife about repairing her AC and also lied to her about the price to diagnose the problem. They said it was going to cost $750 dollars to replace the AC main board and then charged us a $50 fee to diagnose the problem. We took the car to the Acura dealer and they told us it was not the main board and it would only cost $125 or they could sell us the part for $80 and I could install it in 5 minutes!!! I did it myself and saves $670 by not using these rip off artists! They are the definition of BAD MECHANICS.

Had my car in for oil leak diagnostic. Quoted me $260. After the repair was completed they informed me that the check engine light was coming on and that the car would run properly. Turned out they did not label vaccume hoses they kept it overnight and corrected that issue. Picked up the car to find it was still leaking oil. Took it back they then informed me it would be $1000+ to complete another repair. Called another shop and they quoted me $600 for the same repair. The service manager laughed at me when I complained. Would not refund for mis diagnosis.

I try to spend money with Dunwoody businesses whenever possible, but these guys have just gotten too goofy for me. The guy answering the phone today wanted to pick a fight with me over the phone about needing to slightly tweak the tire sizes for my G35 so I could by Goodyear tires. He was all freaked out saying, we won't install those tires on your car (235/50-18 instead of 225/50-18). Well, they just lost over $1000 in business and all future business of mine.

I have been to three of their locations over my 30 years here and these people are great. They do such a wonderful job of staffing their locations with trustworthy guys. It's hard getting your car on and knowing if you are getting ripped off or not, but these guys have helped me out more than necessary and they feel like good friends of mine.

The folks that work at this location are nice but are always trying to sell you some kind of addtional service or item that isn't always needed. They are good for oil changes but any other service is way overpriced.

As a former service manager for one of these locations, I can tell you a secret: The mechanics make $7.50 an hour, plus a commision on all repairs you buy. So, if business is a little slow, and they are inspecting your car, you can BET you are going to get a proposal for all sorts of preventative maintenance services. They have to eat, too, and all you can say is yes or no. Don't ever forget that YOU are their meal ticket, so unless it's broke, don't fix it until you have a chance to review your owner's manual for recommended service intervals and your service history. Just because your tranny fluid isn't bright pink doesn't mean it's due to be flushed. There are lot of color changes over 50,000 miles.

I brought my car in for a oil change and asked for them to investigate a creaking noise when I turned the wheel, and to reattach the glass on a side mirror. They told me that the noise was because I had a slow leaking tire, the bolts were striped - over 300 worth of expense. The mirror? It would need a full replacement - $200 (the Land Rover sales guy reattached it in 2 minutes), that I had oil leakage and needed major system repair. When I told him that I'd run it to Land Rover for the side mirror repair, he said - "Fine. I'm not touching your d*%n car, come pick it up." Land Rover repaired everything for $76. The tire was not at all flat, the lug nuts not stripped, and there were no oil leaks. The creaking system is evidently typical of Land Rovers and didn't need repair. I don't know if its because I'm a woman or what, but I'd be very, very careful and have every estimate from them get a second estimate.

I first stopped at one of their locations in 1995 with a roadside breakdown. They handled everything quickly, and with great courtesy. I've been giving them 100% of my auto repair and maintenance business since then, and they have never disappointed. They treat their customers with respect, and have never recommended any repair that was not justified. I miss having the Whitlock Avenue location, as it was the most convenient, but they are worth the drive to Woodstock from Acworth for their service.

I have had good experiences with this location for oil changes and tires, but I have recently experienced frustration with this Goodyear as they will not service a Volkswagon for enigne issues...just refuse to work on it. (and I definietly dislike taking my car to the dealer).

Sometimes I feel like I am being swindled when I go to a auto repair shop. This place, at times, give me that feeling. I only go when I feel I have no other choice They do good work, but...

These guys are wonderful. I pulled in with a very shredded tire and no spare. It was closing time but they saw I had my kids in the car and fixed me right up. They will always have my business, forever.

The guys at goodyear did a very good job keeping up my car. Their prices and services weren't out of the ordinary, and most everything got done in a timely manner.

This Jan, I had new tires and new brakes installed. The tires are holding up fine. The brakes have needed rework multiple times beginning 2 weeks after the job. I gave them an opportunity to fix on their own, and finally, gave up. I will not take my car to a Goodyear center again, except for a quick oilchange or antifreeze check. And, even for those basic services, there are much better choices out there.
