My wife and I decided to go somewhere special for our 20th anniversary and after looking through several reviews I decided on Woodfire Grill. This place is amazing. If you want to take a detour from the every day hum-drum foods from traditional restaurants, Woodfire Grill is the place for you. We decided to celebrate our milestone with the 9-course chef menu. Portions were 'right-sized' to allow us to enjoy the evening without stuffing ourselves. The favors were magnificent. Thanks Chef for an evening to remember!

My party went here and got the 5-course vegetarian tasting menu. Everything tasted great and looked gorgeous. We were all impressed with the inventive cuisine. The service was friendly, attentive, and very accommodating to our baby [we worried it would be not baby friendly, but they were very welcoming]. Music was excellent, too. We felt like we were on Top Chef. Yay for Kevin!

We had such a wonderful dinner here! The food was excellent and the wine list was great, as well. We had excellent service and have nothing negative to say about Woodfire Grill. I would highly recommend it and we will be back! The atmosphere is also cool and you can see th chefs as they cook. Delicious!

I went to Woodfire Grill with no expectations. My party tried the 5-course tasting menu for $65 per person. Overall, I would say the food was good, perhaps not excellent, but well crafted and in the right portions. The service was distinctly average. The dishes contained numerous vanity ingredients and the servers stumbled over their fawning praise and lengthy descriptions for each dish. It felt pretentious at times. I understand a chef wants to communicate with patrons, but we can be spared some of the ceremony. Still, the food was good. I'm not sure the tasting menu was worth $65, but you can certainly have a good meal at Woodfire Grill.

Woodfire is one of my standard celebration locations. Over the last year, they have really hit their stride in having an all-around excellent meal from apps to dessert, but I'm always especially pleased by the appetizers here. The service is always top notch.

I have been to Woodfire several times, they continue to impress me with the highest quality dining experience. Best meal of 2006 and I dine out frequently and have extensive background in the restaurant business. You might say I am a bit of a food snob!

I had heard great things about this place, and although we arrived early, there was only one other couple there besides ourselves. Perhaps more folks need to read Kudzu! The portions were decent and the Hangar Steak was excellent! The greens that came with it were not bitter (which is usually why I don't eat them) and my dinner mate loved the clams and mussels.

I had high hopes about Woodfire Grill and feel let-down. My wine glass smelled "fishy" and after exchanging just had to deal. The menu changes every day and is a bit odd. The menu desciptions seemed a little over the top (almost need to leave one thing off - like jewelry). With so many other restaurants in Atlanta, I don't think I will be back to try again. Did I mention the price????
