An absolute Nightmare.
The physician may be decent, but the support staff that he has surrounded himself with is terrible.
They were sloppy in the pre-surgical measurements and completely wrecked the vision in one of my eyes by over-correcting it by +1.00 !!!. I could tell they were rushing through the exam trying to get me into the operating room, and I brought it to their attention that they had stopped adjusting the machine before the image was in focus on my second eye in the way they had on the first. But they said, that it really wasn't important as it was just redundant measurements.
It was so bad that I had to buy out my own pocket a special pair of glasses costing several hundred dollars just to manage near 5 months of bad vision and terrible headaches until a SECOND surgery could correct their mistake. Then there was the time off of work, the medications, and numerous other expenses, not to mention the time and pain.
To add insult to injury literally their PRACTICE MANGER had the nerve to repeatedly tell me how grateful that I should be that they were waiving the fees for the second surgical procedure.
Then, because one eye was on a different Post-Op schedule than the second double surgery eye, they wanted to charge me for follow up visits because they say they only include follow ups for a certain period from the FIRST surgery, regardless!
Follow ups = his assistant
IF I COULD DO IT AGAIN I WOULD PAY TWICE AS MUCH TO GO TO SOMEONE DIFFERENT...

Remainder of my contacts have been ordered and will be mailed to my house. Got the receipts and will submit the rebate. Still don't know if I'll go back, but they did fix what was wrong. They need more staff, especially in the optical department.

Woodhams EC was highly recommended by several friends for corrective laser eye surgery. After shopping around a bit I decided they were my first choice. The staff was wonderful. I never had to wait long; they have a very smooth system in the office it seemed. The consultation was very informative and they helped guide me towards the best decision for me, even though it might have meant less money in their pocket. I would go to them again. You should too!

I was very pleased with the service and support I received from Dr. Woodhams and his excellent staff. I got the custom blade free LASIK. Everyone was nice, helpful, and accommodating to my needs. It is like a miracle to see this well w/o contacts or glasses. If you are the least bit nervous, take as much Valium as they'll give you! It is very short, but it'll make you nervous.

If you are interested in playing Russian Roulette with your eyes this is the place and he is your Doctor. I needed a simple cataract operation, except for halo around lights and trouble with small print I was fine. Since the operation I have had nothing but problems. The doctor had inadvertently made my pupil larger he said it was on purpose. I later found out that it was an accident and I was forced to go to another doctor and have another operation to try and repair my eye. End result it will never be any better then it is now --and that is not GREAT.
