POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES, 8/04/2014

just say no to XTREME TANNING I signed up for an EZ tan package at XTREME TANNING in March of 2012. They told me I could cancel after 3 months. I clarified this with them when I signed up bc I only... wanted to tan for my wedding and told them I only needed it until August. In October I went in and cancelled my membership. I hadn't used it since August but I didn't get around to going in there until October to cancel.The girl at the front desk had me sign a cancel form and I thought that was it. They quit debiting my account and almost 2 years later I get a letter from a collection agency stating I own Xtreme Tanning 128.40$. I asked for validation and they sent me a letter stating that they have no record that I cancelled and that I didn't pay the 15$ cancel fee.They said they attempted to draft my account but it was rejected...I have had the same account forever so I will call BS on that also however if that was the case and it actually took place...how come they didn't contact me??? oh because I had already went in in person and cancelled and had already fulfilled the "3 month draft obligation" and if at that time I was supposed to pay the cancel fee then the girl at the front desk should have said something or they should have made some attempt to contact me considering they had my address and phone number on file I would have given them 15$ had I known I owed it. ALMOST TWO YEARS LATER I am being notified. I would recommend finding a salon with better business practices
