Old fashioned sales and service, 6/19/2008

Walking into this store is taking a trip back to the days long before the mass merchandise mega-stores. Friendly and knowledgeable staff will greet you and find out what you are looking for. No high... pressure sales tactics, no overselling, just honest matching your needs and desires to the right product for you. If they don't have exactly what you need, they will say so and tell you where to find it. They deliver, pick up old appliances and, for a modest fee, even help you move them should you move to a new home locally. You can count on honest home town folks here...just like the good old days! Prices are very good considering they compete against the "big box" stores. It is worth a bit extra to me to get the kind of service and help you get after the sale. One example, a belt broke on my Maytag washer on a Sunday afternoon with a lot of laundry to do. I happened to see a light on in the store and saw the owner leaving...he had just stopped by to do a bit of book work. He cheerfully bailed me out by going in and getting me the belt, explained how to install it and told me to stop in "next week sometime" to pay since his registers were all closed up. Try that at a major chain store! Highly recommended!
