Not Impressed with service
I have been going to YUPHA’S off and on since 2006 when they were at the old location off of Elliot Road and Hardy. The food and service has always been outstanding but today was a huge let down. I was very disappointed with my experience there on 12/03/10. The service was poor, my water was put on a table adjoining our without us even being told it was for us. The Thai iced tea was also placed on the same adjoining table even though the waitress could clearly see where we were sitting. My friend’s straw was thrown on the ground and the waitress did not even bother to pick it up. She had to pick it up herself. There was no garnish on the plates as there usually is and the rice tasted old like it had been recycled yuck. I was very disappointed today, and after having eaten here so many times in the past I’m not sure I’ll be heading back. Maybe I will call ahead and find out if Yupha herself is present before I decide to dine there. Service from the owner is excellent when she is in the restaurant but I'm not sure why the current waitresses are so rude and abrupt. Even if the restaurant is busy they should take the time to give their customers good customer service especially in this recession. MY MESSAGE TO THE OWNERS, GET MORE PLEASANT STAFF OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE CUSTOMERS. CUSTOMERS ARE THE REASON THAT RESTAURANTS STAY OPEN AFTER ALL.

Best Chicken Satay in Tempe
Yupha's Thai Kitchen is delicious. They have the best chicken satay I have ever had and their drunken noodles are also amazing. I recommend Yupha's to anyone who enjoys Thai food or anyone who is looking for a great place to dine in Tempe.

Food was Excellent and the Service Good
We really wanted to eat there after reading the reviews and looking at the menu. They are no longer at 1020 W. Elliot Road in Tempe. We called and tried to make it there for the lunch hour and finally found them at 1805 East Elliot Road. Luckily they kept the same phone number.
