Zaffiros Pizza & Bar

Anyone who gives Zaffiro's Pizza less than a full five stars is wrong.I'm a huge fan of thin crust pizza, and there is no place I have eaten that serves thin crust pizza equal to Zaffiro's.Granted, the atmosphere is not great, there is pretty much no natural light or windows and the seating is somewhat cramped, but all that doesn't matter, as the pizza is beyond outstanding.When I'm on the Eastside and need to find a place that's reasonably priced to take someone not familiar with Milwaukee, Zaffiros is the place. It's a super rare person who doesn't love their pizza, and I can't think of anyone I've gone there with who didn't.One more thing, their pepperoni is incredible. Leland Craig Feldman

Wasn't amazed by Zaffiro's pizza. I'm not a fan of thin crust pizza to begin with, and that seemed to be the only type on the menuneed a bigger selection. The service was okay, but def. not the bst....

We went to Zaffiro's for the first time last night (on a Sunday night) and had to wait almost an hour. It is so cramped in the place, hardly anywhere to stand. There was one waiter for the whole place and no on even acknowledged us for at least 10 minutes after we sat down. Had to wait for the hostess to bring us a highchair for our 2 year old (FYI- don't bring your kids, it's not a kid friendly place, no kids meals and they really seem to not even like kids there). When the food finally came, it was just ok. We went there because of the so called, "best pizza" in town, but it really wasn't that good. Please don't waste your time. My beloved Pizza Man is no longer around so we wanted to try this place but I would never go back. Oh.. and it was filthy. The floor was nasty and the place didn't look like it had been cleaned since the 50's.

I love Zaffiro'sit has a great "dive" atmosphere that captures the nostalgia of old-school pizza joints. They make the thinnest crust pizza in town and it is perfectly spiced--I like a simple pizza like cheese & onion which is perfection at Zaffiro's. Their pasta is also good and comes in portions that are worth about three meals. Their red sauce is extremely thick and a little on the sweet side--I love it. Of all the Italian restaurants where I have tried lasagna, theirs is the best--heavy on the beef and sauce and light on the ricotta. It is true, many of the servers look like they will be profiled on Dog the Bounty Hunter, wear filthy aprons, openly sit down and smoke cigarettes during the service, but for me, they just kind of add to the charm of the place....

This is a Gem! A Pizza lovers Paradise and In Little old Milwaukee? Wow! I have Traveled and Lived all over the World and This Thin Crusted Pizza in The Best I have ever had! You think Its only my Opinion? I challenge you to try it! We all have our neighborhood favorite. Expand you horizon and give this Place a Try. You will not want any other Pizza after this!Rick In Panama!...
