We had a major plumbing issue which we needed immediate service. Zurn plumbing came right out, diagnosed the problem, and began immediate repairs. The repair required extensive work, but Zurn... Plumbing was professional and timely. Throughout the process, Zurn continued to be available to us as soon as we called. Zurn has earned a lifetime customer and we highly recommend them for anyone who has Plumbing needs. (and this comes from a plumber's daughter who knows good quality work)VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
where do I start. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. My Land lord has used Zuran in the past but has not done so in the 9yrs that we've rented from him. Periodically we receive... postcards from Zurn, hence the reason my elderly mother contacted them. Our leaking faucet needed repair, mind you I had purchased a kit from a local hardware and was told the steam & washer needed to be replaced & to do so I would have to turn off main h2o valve from outside. After deciding not to diy, Russell a tech from Zurn came out and installed two handles only and a new shower head. Under work requested he wrote faucet handle broken. the leak was controlled, bu,t after one week the faucet was leaking again. Upon immediately notifying the company another tech was sent out & stated that a washer needed to be replaced, the water needed to be cut off from the street. That charge would cost another 250.00. THEY NEVER FIXED it the1stTIME. When requesting to speak with a manager I got the run around, the typical he's not in, I'll have him contact you. The same thing when asking to speak to the owner, this went on for three weeks phone tag and leaving multiple messages. Do you think I heard back from anyone not a single person ever called me back, and my faucet is still leaking. What a RIP OFF. There logic was when my mom originally called it was for a broken handle and that's what they repaired. Whos the professional. So unfortunate.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

I called Zurn after purchasing my new home, I wanted to have the toilets replaced so I found Zurn Plumbing. I called and spoke with a call taker and I explained that I wanted to replace 2 toilets so they passed me over to an estimator to get a special price since I was doing more than one. Matt Zurn helped me and gave me pricing to replace 2 toilets for about $800.00 which is fair since they use the toto brand. They came out the next day during the time I scheduled and got the toilets done in a very efficient manner. I noticed after they left that one of the toilets had a problem so I called their office and they sent the tech out the next morning, he replaced the tank and they honored their warranty. I got a 2 year Parts and Labor warranty with my job. I highly recommend Zurn! They quoted a price and stuck to it, showed up on time, cleaned up when they finished.

We just went tankless to replace our 12yr old water heater and had Zurn Plumbing come out for an estimate. They were very helpful in talking through all of the installation options and providing sound advice. The installation was very courteous and professional and went smoothly. I'm not a plumber, but the final product looks great and works great too. High quality work and they followed up to make sure everything was fine. The price was good and the work was excellent. Very satisfied and recommend calling for service.

I have used Zurn Plumbing on 3 occasions in the past 2 years. The first time was when our hot water tank broke. They came on time, professionally dressed and quickly got me a new tank. The other 2 times they came out we thought there was a problem. It turned out that both times there was nothging to fix, leaky basement and a minor toilet clog. I was home without my husband and they did not try to take advantage of me. I will always call Zurn when we have or think we have a problem.

Thank you for your kind words. Regards, Matt Zurn
Called ZURN to fix a half completed plumbing job by My Plumbing Sewer & Septic that was causing gushing water to come from my shower on/off knob. ZURN showed up same day after my frantic call and rushed in to fix the problem. The previous plumber service fumbled around trying to fix the issue for over a week while ZURN fixed it within 24 hours. They were a little more expensive then others, but if you want the job done right the first time by experience professionals, without any hassles, it's worth the extra cost. Highly Recommended!

Thank you for you comments. We strive to provide the highest level of quality and service at a fair price. We appreciate your patronage. Regards, Matt Zurn
I had two issues that I had Zurn look at. One was a leak in our garage. The repair person did a good job of identifying and fixing the problem. However, I felt the amount charged for the work done was out of line. But the work was done fast and seems to be fine. At the same time, one of the Zurns (a son I think) came out to give me an estimate for some work I was interested in doing. Granted I didn't have all the specifics but I would assume they had done similar work and could have given me a high-level estimate, knowing it would have to be revised. He also said he would email me some plumbing supply centers where we could look at products. I never head from him again. When I received a follow up post card asking about the service, I returned it with my concerns and never heard from them again.

We apologize that you feel that you were over charged. However with all of our customers we quote our prices before we begin any work and get approval before we start. We do this so that you know exactly what you owe when the bill comes. As for the quote to do other work, he is right that one of the Zurnís came out because it was me. When I got there this client had no idea of what kind of changes they wanted to make to their bathroom and had no plans of doing so for a least 5 or 6 months. I offered to give him some names of the showrooms when he was ready to move forward because models and styles change frequently. It is very difficult to give a competitive and approximate pricing for work when there isnít a clear scope to work from, so I spoke in general numbers when I was there and asked that when they were ready to give me a call As for the response card, I cannot say what happened that we didnít follow up with that and Iím sorry. For any existing or future clients out there please donít ever hesitate to pick up the phone and call us, we want to make sure you are satisfied. I offer this particular client the same offer that if you would like an estimate when you are ready please give me a call. Regards, Matt Zurn
I was having a plumbing problem. I called and they agreed to come out that afternoon, for that I give two stars. When the arrived they did not check my toilet or flush it first, but took out my toilet and then told me there was no problem it was working fine, then charged me $204.20. They say I had to pay them because they took off the toilet, but it seems if they had done their job first I would have only been charged the call-out fee, because there was no issue. Also, they tried to talk me in to installing another part that wasn't needed. Thankfully I didn't get the part but, I feel like I was taken advantage of because I am a woman.

I am truly sorry that this customer feels that we took advantage of her because she was a woman. We do not operate that way and I would hate to have a perception like that out there. This client called us at about 11:00 AM on 11-28-06 because her toilets were backing up as well as her bathtubs. We sent a technician and an apprentice out that same afternoon arriving at 3:10. The symptoms that she had reported earlier in the day indicated that there was a main stoppage in her main sewer line. The reason that the tech didnít flush the toilet a bunch of times is because if they filled the line up, then they would not be able to remove the toilet without making a mess. The toilet would need to be removed so we could access the line with our sewer machine. So they needed to remove the toilet and test for the stoppage. We didnít charge this customer for the time we spent testing the line but we did charge for the pull and reset. They completed the job at 4:30 the same day. For whatever reason the line wasnít backing up when we were there however we did quote pricing up front and the customer signed the work order agreeing to it. The part she was referring to was a small repair part that was showing signs of deterioration but would have been allright for a little longer. We mentioned it to try and save her money in the long run so she wouldnít have to pay another trip charge to have it repaired later. We strive to be the best company and have the most qualified technicians in Atlanta. We only sell our clients service they need and apparently we have given this customer a reason to think otherwise and we apologize. So I would extend the offer to have her call me and see what she thinks would be a fair resolution to this issue. Regards, Matt Zurn
I contacted the Chamblee Tucker location of Zurn Plumbing in order to get an estimate for a bathroom addition. The first appointment was concelled due to a problem with an inspection for another client. This should have been my first clue not to use them. They were an hour late to the second appointment. The man as very freindly and professional. He told me he would get me the estimate the next day which would be a Friday. Friday came and went with no estimate. I waited until the next week thinking he would call Monday...no phone call. I called Tuesday and they said he would call me back later that day. No phone call. I then called again the next day and finally talked to the individual working on my estimate and he told me he was working on it right now and would call me before the end of the day. It has now been 2 weeks and no estimate. If they didn't want to do the job then they should just say sorry, can't do it. But instead they continued to tell me the estimate was coming. If this is how they are about an estimate, I would hate to see how they are when they are suppose to actually do the work. I definately would not recommend the Zurn Plumbing office on Chamblee Tucker Rd.

There simply is no excuse for this type of behavior and the employee that ignored this customer has long since been let go. A new person has come up to take over the duties of general manager and estimator. We apologize and strive to make sure a current business gets handled in a timely fashion. Regards, Robert Zurn
The plumber that came to my house was clean cut and polished...much improvement from other plumbers I used. I received a fair price for quality work and he showed up on time which is unusual in Atlanta. I will use them next time I have a problem.
